Riverhouse at Creswell Island

This rental is waterfront property on the White River with a boat dock. Come relax, fish and park your boat in your own private boat dock during your stay. This is a three bedroom and 2 bath house. It sleeps 4-6 people with one king size bed in the downstairs bedroom. The first bedroom upstairs has two twin beds and the second bedroom upstairs has one double bed. This property has a Maximum occupancy of 6 people, regardless of age. The rate listed is for a party of two. There is an additional charge of $10 per person for 3-6 guests. The screened-in porch among the trees will be a favorite spot to relax and listen to the river. The Riverhouse is located in a private area 2 miles from downtown Calico Rock on the White River at Creswell Island. The Riverhouse is on a county road and it is a gravel road the last 1/2 mile to the river. Outdoor furniture, charcoal barbecue grill, and picnic table with views of the river. It was a wonderful stay!

We have a busy life and we were so happy to have had a wonderful, quiet, restful stay! The scenery was beautiful and it was so nice to have met Diane, who when we ask for anything to make our stay more comfortable, she was very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again and are planning to this fall!
This is in the back patio where you can see the river and your own dock where you can fish! Beautiful scenery!

We truly enjoyed our time at the Riverhouse. Diane is the BEST! When we arrived the house was cool, clean, and smelled fabulous. Everything we needed (except food) was there. We spent every evening on the dock and watched the otters swim. I loved setting on the porch where it was quiet and peaceful. The only draw back was we ride Goldwing trikes that set low to the ground and the private road to the house was rocky but we learned to maneuver around the rough spots no problem.

Perfect river getaway!

We absolutely loved the Riverhouse and this beautiful spot on the White River! As other reviewers have already said, the house is so thoughtfully fitted out with so many things to make you feel at home and able to relax. Diane is the best hostess, and the nicest person you could ever want to work with, and we are already trying to figure out when we can come back!

Relaxing week away from home

The house has everything you need including everything you need to cook. Beautiful views directly on the river and with a private boat dock. We spent the majority of our time down there. Diane was a great host and stayed in touch to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. It’s the perfect home away from home.

I am a retired educator from Northeast Arkansas. We purchased the Riverhouse in 2012 and in 2013 purchased another house in the area.

Why they chose this property

The property can only be seen from the river unless you drive down the private drive. There are only 5 houses so it’s is a quiet neighborhood. The screened-in porch overlooking the river is my favorite place for morning coffee and relaxing in the late afternoon.

What makes this property unique

This property comes with its own private boat dock for parking your boat during your stay. Our guests enjoy fishing from the boat dock, watching the eagles fly over and the cows drinking and cooling off across the river from the pasture. There are not many boat docks on the White River in this area and one of the main reasons we purchased this property.
