The road network is fantastic taking you off in all directions over to the coast, or perhaps a visit to Alnwick Castle and the stunning Northumberland coastline. There is so much to see and do, Tynemouth is incredibly popular with a vast array of restaurants, bars, pretty shops, the abbey and a beautiful beach. You can even use a local metro to visit the coast, only 9 miles away. The Hive is a perfect base for a self-catering break to recharge your batteries and explore the fantastic North East.
