Daughter's 18th

Had a great weekend based from here. We did a number of activities for my daughter's 18th in the nearby areas from Brands Hatch to London. The hosts were great folks, very friendly and helpful. The unit was nice and the peaceful outside deck and chairs looking over the river was a perfect spot to have breakfast and ease into the day.
Stayed 4 nights in May 2025

We feel incredibly lucky to call Mill Meadows Farm our home—a truly unique property tucked away in a peaceful corner of London’s green belt. Sharing it with guests brings us real joy, and many return year after year, which is the greatest compliment.

We value mutual respect: for our home, our animals, our family, and our neighbours. In return, we offer you the chance to slow down, reconnect, and make lasting memories—whether you’re enjoying alfresco dinners, exploring the gardens, or simply soaking up the calm.

If you’re looking for somewhere characterful, peaceful, and a little different—you're in the right place. We look forward to welcoming you.

Why they chose this property

We feel incredibly lucky to live in such a well-connected yet peaceful location. Bexley Village is a lively and characterful place, full of independent pubs, restaurants, and cafés. With fast, reliable transport links into central London, it's an ideal base for exploring the capital—yet just as well placed for discovering the Kent countryside.

We’re happy to suggest local day trips, and in the farmhouse, you’ll find a detailed guidebook with links to nearby attractions, walks, dining, and more.

Kent, known as The Garden of England, is full of contrast—from peaceful marshlands and historic castles to the dramatic White Cliffs of Dover and vibrant seaside towns. Whether you’re after nature, history, or local charm, there’s something here for everyone.

And when you’re ready for the buzz of the city, London’s world-famous museums, markets, theatres and sights are just a short train ride away. We often suggest starting with the Timeout guide—it’s a great way to prioritise the best of London.

What makes this property unique

Mill Meadows Farm offers something truly rare: a peaceful countryside setting, complete with gardens, wildlife and space to breathe—all within a London Borough.

Guests often tell us how surprised they are by the quiet, the charm, and the sense of seclusion. With over three acres to explore, plus a riverside setting, our characterful farmhouse and guesthouse provide the ideal backdrop for relaxing getaways, family celebrations, or simply time to slow down.

Animal lovers will enjoy sharing the grounds with our friendly pets and wildlife. And if you’re seeking a base for exploring both London and Kent, there’s no better location. It’s this mix—of nature, comfort, and convenience—that makes Mill Meadows feel so special.
