Situated in the heart of the Florentine Oltrarno, Lunaria and its carefully furnished five suits boasts one of the most coveted views in the world: Palazzo Pitti: the stately home of the Medici family, to whom we owe a large part of our artistic heritage that we are so proud of. Just a stone’s throw from the Ponte Vecchio, in the heart of the Florentine historic centre, the palazzo in which Lunaria is situated was home to various artists such as Fyodor Dovstoyesky, the famous writer who in 1869 finished one of his most successful works ‘The Idiot’ in Florence.

delightful apartment in the heart of Florence!

Great location across from the Piti Palace. The apartment was very nice and new. The only challenge was communicating with the property manager: by her own admission, she was extremely busy. She is delightful but it took too long for her to respond to my inquires & questions.

The actual property surpassed the description. The apartment was spotless. There are two great rooms, one bigger than the other. We were a party of 10. There was room at the dining table for us to have dinner together. The bedrooms are large and the bathrooms are great. Our host was the best. We were in Florence during the recent heat wave. The AC worked as it should. After climbing stairs at the Duomo we were glad to be able to return to the apartment and cool off. No small feature is that on Google Maps Lunaria comes up making it easier for Uber and Taxi to find the apartment. Ginevra thankyou, pray to see you soon. Rick Q
