Wee cottage has everything you need

We came from the US to play golf at St. Andrews. This cottage was perfectly located for this. Central to everything. It was great to have laundry and a fridge to supplement eating out and all of our r activities.

Great location, seriously, it was ideal. My husband and I stayed here with my 82-year-old (active & feisty MIL). It was the perfect space to have both private bedrooms/ baths and a common kitchen-living room. Absolutely spotless and comfortable.

I know there are a lot of good reviews, but we didn’t like the place. The beds were really poor. You can feel every spring in them. We reported the problem and were told the owner says they’re new. Tried the mattresses in both rooms, without being hyperbolic, i can try say worst beds we ever slept on. They also don’t even put a fitted base sheet on bed. Just a single top sheet. Only stayed one night and checked out, despite knowing they weren’t going to offer us any compensation. Kitchen is fine. Bathrooms are small but okay. Bathroom window doesn’t fully close. Back patio is super tiny. I also suspect they used a wide angle lens in photos as the bedrooms are quite small. Lastly, it wasn’t particularly clean either. Honestly, i rarely do reviews, but this was a mistake i wouldn’t want someone else to make, unless bed comfort doesn’t matter.

Golf Cottage

Place was great. Clean, great location with comfortable bedrooms. We did have a little trouble finding the place. The address needs to read on North St. Would recommend to anyone.We didn’t use kitchen, but was available. Didn’t see a refrigerator, but we didn’t need it.

Golf Cottage

This was a really great place to stay for a golf vacation at St Andrews. You arrive in town, park your car at one of the designated sites and walk to the courses. Very short walks; 30 seconds to three minutes at most.

Seating area lovely, however the bedroom and bath combination was not comfortable due to small size of room and bathroom. Also is it customary to only offer half rolls of toilet tissue? Seemed like it would not cost very much to add and extra roll
