Our Enchanted Forest Condo was appropriately named. The deck is huge and covered. There are no stairs. Park feet from your front door for easy loading and unloading. Located across the street from our Treehouse unit for larger groups. It is in Phase 3. Don't be fooled by prices in Phase 1. They are not Comparable.

Loved our stay with family. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Sami is an exceptional host. Our only difficulty was none of us had cell phone service. We had to drive to the top of the hill to get service.

We would love to stay here again!

This is the best condo that we have stayed at in Mountain Harbor. It was super clean and so very comfortable! Everything that we needed was included and it has a full size washer and dryer. I would happily recommend this condo to anyone! We especially enjoyed having our coffee on the porch while watching the all of the little deer just steps away from us. This place is a gem!

Great place to stay!

Great location, beautiful area, spacious and comfortable. This condo was a perfect choice for our family of 4. It was very well stocked with everything you could need though we couldn't find the blender, not a big deal. Loved the deck and listening to the sounds of the little creek down below. It was an easy drive to the Crater of Diamonds State Park, Wegman Crystal Mine and Hot Springs. Everything was very clean. The beds were very comfortable as was all the living room furniture. Really appreciated the refrigerator with ice and water through the door, really good pots and pans and knives as well as all the little touches like boxes of tissues and hand soap at all the sinks, plenty of towels and the convenience of a keyless lock. We've stayed at a lot of VRBO homes and this one is at the top of the list. Would highly recommend! Oh and we saw lots of deer and enjoyed fishing at the lake.

Best Experience at a Condo Ever!

Let me start by saying my family and I are avid condo renters, we travel to the lake often. We have a lot of experience with different types of rentals and this condo takes the cake! If I could rate this 100 stars I would. The owner Sami, is the true definition of “going the extra mile” for her renters. Before we arrived she noticed I had booked with two small children (3 year old & 9 month old) she reached out and offered to help us save packing space by providing several things for the kids. Anyone who travels with kids knows how easily stuff piles up and how you almost have to pack your whole house with you 😂 Well Sami really went above and beyond for us. When we arrived, there was a pack n play, toy walker, toys for our bigger kid and toys for the baby, a boppy pillow, kids books, extra crib mattress, bottle rack, and bibs! Wow! We were blown away from her kindness! My kids had a BLAST with all the cool new toys! Aside from that, the attention detail was amazing. There was a welcome sign and gift basket customized with our family name. It was so thoughtful and we really appreciated that. Also the condo is more updated from the photos in this listing. Beautiful floors, new living room furniture, etc. The whole condo was well stocked. In our experience with renting this part can vary, some are stocked thin and some are stocked with more. This condo has every little thing you could possibly need. Even a kitchen “junk drawer” is what I call it. I found a chip bag clip in there. Lol. But there are seasonings, any kind of pot/pan/utensil possible. Two coffee makers: Keriug and regular. Britta water filter in the fridge, zip locks, basically almost everything in your kitchen at home. Which for us was extremely helpful. This condo is a HOME AWAY FROM HOME. We were comfortable in every aspect of our stay and honestly did not want to leave. We will 100% book with Sami again. She is cares about her renters and provides top notch customer service that is so hard to come by. We have no complaints what so ever, only great things to say. Lake Ouachita and the Moutain Harbor community are hands down the best place to stay if you are coming to the lake. It is quiet and peaceful. The perfect place for a get away! Thank you Sami for everything! We hope to book with you again.

Wonderful Retreat for Thanksgiving

This is a newly updated and very comfortable condo. The kitchen can accommodate several cooks at once. It was beautifully organized and stocked with all the basics you could ever need. We prepared a Thanksgiving meal easily. Sami, our host, provided us with all sorts of snacks including homemade cookies and parfaits. She also was helpful in sharing information about the area. All of her suggestions were hits with us. We were doubtful about eating at the Lodge but our lunch there was really good. The basic layout of the place provides privacy as well as a comfortable communal space. Despite the cold we couldn’t resist the enormous back porch with its great seating areas and views. The leaves still had a lot of color but the were falling. There were a lot of deer and they were totally unafraid of us. I recommend bringing deer corn! We couldn’t have asked for more…great space, comfy beds, nature at our back door and a very helpful host. Thank you,Sami. We shall return!

Wonderful getaway

I was so impressed with our experience during our stay. The owner was wonderful and exceeded all expectations . She allowed us to come earlier than the typical check in time and also gave extra time for our checkout process. This helped us to enjoy extra time at the lake that we wouldn’t have had otherwise. The owner was so helpful giving us info for trail rides. When we arrived their was a sign welcoming us with our name on it and handmade desserts and a goody basket all thoughtful touches. The condo itself was beautiful and so comfortable with plenty of great places to lounge and the back is great. Overall, this has been our favorite condo and experience with the owner of all of the places that we’ve stayed. We are already planning our next stay here.

I can’t say enough how our experience at the enchanted forest was a great one. Tami, the host, was very helpful, friendly and overall amazing as well. Great Lake Condo

We had a great experience renting Sami’s condo! Easy to communicate with leading up to our stay and we were able to check in early. The condo was pristine upon arrival with great personal touches as well. Comfortably slept 3 couples and loved sitting on the back deck watching the deer. Would highly recommend!

Perfect family condo

Great condo for families. Well stocked kitchen, large and easy to cook in. Bedrooms and bathrooms very nice. Laundry area always needed with children! Outdoor porch space a big plus. This owner had toys for little ones, swim items for the pool, games for all ages. Popsicles waiting in the freezer! The resort was beautiful. Our family had a greatime(4 adults,2&4 yr old). Our 4 yr old grandson was convinced we were staying in a tree house! Pretty much when sitting on back porch up in the trees. They played outside on that deck for hours. Outdoor rugs were nice for them to sit on. I loved the papasan chair that I sat in for hours, and lots of giggles and snuggles with my grand boys in that chair. Memories yes. LKP

We purchased this property for some family rest and relaxation. Being from Louisiana we loved the water without gators. We just had our lake place remodeled and we hope you will love it as much as we do. The handicapped entrance makes our condo desirable for folks with limited mobility. I like it coz i can park by the front door and unload the car quickly. Our favorite time of year is the Off Season. The air is crisp, the bugs are gone, the temperature is perfect and if you come during the high color weeks in mid Fall it is breathtaking. Especially if you can get on the water and capture the trees reflecting off the calm, serene water. It really is magical. If you bring a boat you can park in the cove and walk to the condo with ease from the lake without having to go to the dock and get your car. It really makes it convenient when you have the family on an island and just need to run back for a second. We also have folding chairs and water toys for more lake fun.

Why they chose this property

There are 3 phases in the complex. Our condo is in Phase III, my favorite. Everything is just nicer in Phase III. Parking, deck size, number of buildings is less than Phase I or II. If your kids can swim alone you can sit on your deck and holler at them when lunch is ready. If they are tennis players you can watch the match from the comfort of your porch. The entrance, location relative to the pool and tennis court and lake make this our favorite spot. Come share our little piece of paradise.

What makes this property unique

Lake Ouachita National Forest has one of the cleanest lakes in the country. Out of the 1000 miles of shoreline there are no single family dwellings. These condos are it for private development on the waters front. Any trailer near the water is on Corp property and you can't own the dirt under the trailer. Come experience our pristine water with over 200 islands.
