Your perfect beach escape is waiting… New to the rental market, 314 Charleston is situated on a corner lot near the southern tip of the Isle of Palms across a quiet street to the beach. Enjoy long, sunny days spent lounging by the private pool or basking on the nearby sandy shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

This charming home is perfect for large groups or multiple families, boasting 7 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and two levels, each with a living room and kitchen. The home is decorated with mix of fun and modern coastal décor, updated furniture and light fixtures, flat-screen TVs, and plenty of windows to allow in the natural lighting.

The expansive upstairs includes the main kitchen, living and dining room areas, 4 bedrooms and 2 shared bathrooms. Each bedroom on this level has one queen bed and share the two bathrooms, which are both accessible from main living room. The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for cooking a lowcountry meal and the upstairs dining room table has seating for 8 guests. Also, the fantastic sunroom off of the living room offers plenty of windows that open to enjoy the fresh air and salty breezes. Relax with a book on the porch or conveniently access the top sundeck to enjoy some sunshine.

A unique spiral staircase, located off the living room upstairs, connects the two levels of the home. Once downstairs, you will find an additional fully-equipped kitchen and second living room with sofa and flat-screen TV. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on this level. The bedrooms consist of a one king-sized bed, one full-sized bed, and a third room with one set of bunk beds (full/twin). These rooms share 3 bathrooms, which are easily accessed from a hallway or main room. The laundry room for the home is located in the entryway of the lower level.

The exceptional private pool is located in the landscaped, fenced-in back yard. With a fun wet bar, covered porch with patio dining, and picnic table, it’s the perfect oasis to spend your afternoons. The outside seating provides 14 additional seats for dining with a large group. Additionally, the backyard area exits across a quiet street to the beach. Only steps away from a beach access path leading directly to the ocean. For added convenience, there is abundant parking and we do provide all linens and bath towels.

This house was perfect for what we were looking for. It was well kept and had ample bedrooms and space for everyone, and was in a great location. It was one row of houses from the beach (with views of the ocean), and easy to get both downtown or do things on IOP. Lisa was also a great host and attentive to our questions.

this was a wonderful place to stay. it had a cozy and warm feel- like home. the beach was one street over and walks there were gorgeous. the layout allowed lots of room to gather and hang out and to also have some private space. the sun porch from which you could see the water was perfect for our thanksgiving dinner. we did a lot of cooking to say the least and the kitchen was well equipped. the hosts were very welcoming and made sure to check if there was anything we wanted or needed. we would most definitely stay here again.

There was much more space than I anticipated and so was pleasantly surprised as our group of 10 fit very comfortably. It was far enough out of the town to be quiet, but close enough so we could walk in and out if we wanted. The owners were very nice and responsive

Relaxing Golf & Beach Getaway

Everything about Lisa's home was spectacular. You have views of the ocean, your own private pool to relax by and the beach is just one short block away! This cozy home is located just a short walk from a few local restaurants and bars. The home also had a great grill on the patio which we took full advantage of on our night in. To top it off Lisa was an incredibly gracious and responsive host. For anyone looking to get an authentic Isle of the Palms get away I would recommend stay at Lisa's home.

Nice weekend getaway

While the house is relatively small, it offers ample bedrooms, bathrooms and even a second living room on the first floor. It is only about a1 or 2 minute walk to get on the beach as the beach access is right across the street. From the second floor balcony you can see the ocean. Overall the house is not updated and looks a bit tired inside. While generally clean, the pots, pans, dishes and silverware were quite dirty. In my judgement the place is best suited for a family with many children or two families during a summer stay where you would spend most of your time outdoors. There is a nice pool and patio, perfect for summer fun. I would still recommend the place and the owners are very responsive and helpful.

A few issues

When we arrived the Air Conditioning was not working. And, it was SO hot. The HVAC man finally came and fixed it. Several lights were out. Some of the TVs didn't work. We had a terrible shower in the lower level.. the shower head needs to be changed. One of the toilets stopped up.The washing machine did not work and finally the very LAST afternoon, they sent a new one. But, staying at the beach - we expected for that to be working the whole time...No body wants used towels for 7 days!!! We finally had to go to a laundromat...time and expense was wasted on something that was advertised to be working.

My husband and I have lived in Charleston for over 35 years. We loved the beach and have owned a home on Isle of Palms for 25 years. The location of this home is special and we use this as our getaway to spend time with our 3 children and friends.
I am a practicing dentist and my husband also has his business in Charleston.

Why they chose this property

Our home is located on one of the best locations on the island. The beach is quiet but you can walk a mile and be in downtown Isle of Palms. It is also a short distance to downtown Charleston.
