Less than one block to the beach, this home is a favorite and has many guests return year after year! No pets, No smoking. City tax and security deposit apply to all reservations. Beautiful property that is updated and very close to the beach. Also, walking distance to some restaurants. The unit below us had no body staying in it which was nice. Parking is very tight but it was nice to have it. Being so close to the beach it would have been nice to have a few beach chairs and umbrellas instead of having to rent them. Shanna was great and very responsive. Loved the property and look forward to staying there again!

We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and welcome you back! We will pass the suggestion along to the owners. Unfortunately, beach chairs and such items have "disappeared" in the past. Perhaps we can give it another try!
The property was clean and very spacious! There were a few minor fix it things that the owner can do. The hallway restroom doesn't lock. Also, the main bedroom with restroom attached towel rack kept falling. Other than that, everything was great! Walk to the beach was very convenient!
It worked well for us, but had one fewer bed than listed. Only sleeps 7 when listed for sleeping 8. Had to rent linen, making it more expensive. A/C was definitely a plus.

Thank you for the review and for bringing that the ad stated 8 people. I just spent quite a bit of time on the phone with VRBO trying to find out where it was pulling 8 people from, because it properly shows "sleeps 7" in beds. This correlates with the bed sizes. It turns out that it was pulling it from the House Rules, as we will allow an eighth person to sleep on the sofa or a child in a pack n play, etc. We have had it corrected so not to mislead any future guests. We certainly hope to see you again!
The place was as advertised and worked well for my Sister and I and our respective kids. The place is about a block and a half off the beach. We rented cruiser bikes and had them delivered to property and they were our primary means of transportation for the week. It was an easy ride to Balboa Island, Hermosa Beach and all in between. It was a great location and a relaxing week.

This home owner takes very good care of the duplex and it is well maintained. It is approximately five to six homes from the beach. Cleaners follow the CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting between each guests stay.
