It is a comfortable gathering space where you can watch a DVD on the 50 in. flat screen or chat about your Deep Creek vacation plans. The wood stove and a cup of hot chocolate will keep you cozy on snowy winter nights.

Highlighted by granite counters and stainless steel appliances, the well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to make your family's best-loved dishes. The dining area offers seating for eight, so there is a spot for everyone to enjoy time together as you share homemade meals.

The main level primary suite is furnished with a queen bed and TV. Filtered lake views make it a relaxing spot where you can rest up before exploring the area.

Upstairs, the loft is great place to savor a little quiet time with a good book. A bedroom with a queen bed, two twins and a TV also offers you access to a private deck where you can sip your morning coffee surrounded by the sounds of nature. The second upper level bedroom is outfitted with a king bed and TV and has access to the hall bath.

Wonderful home with plenty of space for a group or extended family to find their own corners. Basement area was great for kiddos with the ping pong and pool table. The front lawn basically extends all the way to the lake…there’s a very lightly traveled neighborhood road in the middle but it’s very quiet. Lake access is great and so peaceful. We rented kayaks/paddleboards and were on the water most days. The house is in a quiet area, a bit far from the main spots in town. Charcoal grill on the porch and the fire pit made for some lovely evenings.

We had 4 adults, 2 infants, and 2 dogs stay at this cozy little place and it was just what we needed! Calm and quiet with all the conveniences we needed, and easy access to a little beach and a view of the lake. We definitely recommend it for a low-key weekend!

The property was ideal as we needed one bedroom and bath on main floor and two bedrooms and bath on upper floor. It was like having two houses. House had all the amenities we needed including tray for our dog's food and water. Neighbors were friendly. House overlooked the boat dock and we had access to a dock if we had a boat.

Chill when it’s Cold

This house is amazing! Great location & super roomy. We were there for a weekend with a high of 13 degrees & a little under a foot of snow, which meant all the amenities inside really mattered. The pool table & rec room TV … huge kitchen … relaxing living room were all great. And when the teenagers had had enough they were happy to have separate rooms secluded upstairs…

Great time in the Mountains

The house was great. The housekeeping was bad. There was hair on the rug and behind the door in the main bedroom and a glob of hair that was in put on the side wall of the shower in the master bedroom. The area was spectacular. We were there in the fall very quiet and enjoyable. I would definetly return.

Beautiful property location

The location was ideal and the house very attractive. Well stocked with dishes, kitchen equipment etc. TV's all worked, bathrooms all worked. Didn't use dishwasher or washer/dryer. Lots of movies and tv channels. Could have used more hooks in the entryway and the closet there was full of stuff so no place to store anything. Same with laundry room. Pillows, blankets, etc on floor next to appliances. There were no extra kitchen trash bags, just an empty box. Ice maker didn't work, we had to buy ice. We even pulled up the manual but couldn't get it to work. Kitchen cabinets were stuck shut and had no hardware. Very difficult for all of us to open the cabinets. The bathrooms could have used a rug and hand soap. The second bedroom upstairs had vertical blinds with a rope hanging from one end of the door to the other. Definitely a danger for kids. The first floor bedroom had no shades or blinds and the curtains didn't cover the windows when closed. The lake was a very short walk and there were benches to sit on so was very nice.

My expectations vs. what we had . . . .

I booked this place hoping to spend time with my adult children, granddaughter, husband, and our dog. When we arrived the door code did not work. We had to call and it was quickly resolved. The first night we planned to watch the Ravens (our home team) play football. I was soooooo excited for this. We had no no internet or WFI and the message we received was that the bill was not paid. You've got to be kidding. When I called Taylor-Made back I was told the office was closed and nothing could be done that evening. Called first thing in the a.m. Friday - and I was told by a manager that the bill was paid - my daughter called since I was so upset over this was told that the bill had not been paid. It was late on Friday that we had service. The pool table was in terrible condition and there was only 1 pool cue. Please don't advertise the pool table because it could not be used. The ping pong table would have been fun to play; however, the balls were dry rotted and broke when being played with. I replaced the broken balls from Walmart since some of the adults wanted to play. The location of the house is nice. The house needs some serious updates. Taylor Made informed me that I would receive an email of a partial refund of not having the internet or WFI. I have not received the email. I would like a refund of the ping pong balls I bought so we could at least use the table. If you are renting your home - provide the ammenities promised.

Nice property, terribly dirty dishes everywhere and no mention to bring toiletries

The dishes were all nicely placed in drawers and cabinets, but dozens of plates, silverware, and coffee mugs were clearly uncleaned and put away dirty, which was both disgusting and frustrating given the hefty 3 figure cleaning fee. I even have the photos to prove it. Also, VRBO makes no mention of the fact that you had to bring your own toiletries and trash bags, and the ice machine was broken. We felt ripped off given the steep cleaning fee and overall cost for two nights when out of season and will liekly ask for partial refund. Everything else was great as far as the house and property location, etc.

Wintertime escape

The Lakeview Cottage was all we needed and more. The property manager was very helpful and responsive to our questions and needs. There wasn't any firewood upon arrival but by end of evening, they delivered some. Plenty of room for more than our meager crowd of 3, but was nice place to remote work and still enjoy fireplace and snow. Look forward to returning.
