The property is well located, private and has a good amount of space. Unfortunately it also feels very tired and could do with some decorating, repairs and damp removal. The top floor has 2 bedrooms with circular windows that don't open, so they get uncomfortably hot in the summer. Some of the towels smelt suspiciously like vomit. And, unfortunately, we had a huge Fly outbreak during our weekend, having to deal with multiple hundred House Flies in the property, making cooking and leaving food out a hygiene nightmare and just general nuisance. The owner did bring over fly tape and a zapper but it felt like a drop in the ocean to deal with it.If the property was cleaner and better looked after, I would easily rate it higher.
