Great location but accommodation was poor

No where in the accommodation listing did it say you would need to carry your 23kg luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Walking up and down 4 flights of stairs 3 times a day was ridiculous! The cleanliness of the apartment was poor, and the shower facilities horrible. The shower curtain was dirty and the windows in the bathroom look over an office building with no privacy. Washer was good as was the small kitchen. The apartment looks over the Main Street and of a morning rubbish trucks were loud. The positives; the location was fantastic, close to the train station and restaurants and the many attractions. We were very disappointed with our stay and would not recommend to anyone.

Dear Taryn, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad you appreciated the fantastic location and convenience of nearby attractions, the train station and restaurants. The stairs are a feature of historic buildings in the city center, shaped by architectural and preservation requirements. While they contribute to the property’s charm and authenticity, we understand they may not suit everyone’s preferences. Your feedback about cleanliness has been passed to our housekeeping team and we have asked them to ensure all areas meet our standards. The lively atmosphere of the city center can bring some noise and we regret if this caused any inconvenience during your stay. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future for a more enjoyable experience! Team Sanders
