A delightful stay

We so enjoyed our 4 nights at Edge Mere apartment. Very convenient location and a perfect property with everything we could wish for to celebrate a special birthday. Exploring the area by boat, on foot and by car was so easy and the shops cafes and pubs are right on the doorstep. A very relaxing trip. We would love to return.

Return visit to Edge Mere Apartment

Excellent in every way, location, comfort, cleanliness, parking, communication. Our return visit was as good as the first a year ago, and we will definitely make a third visit. Loved it. I would be quite fussy and expect a high standard, Edge Mere delivers in all respects. Love it!

Everything was great. Location, comfort,facilities,cleanliness. Do I have to say a negative ? Maybe just take note the short steep hill would be a bit of an ask if you’re not too good on your feet. That aside it was perfect for a whistle stop tour.

Amazing property

We had a brilliant stay at edgemere apartment. The property was spotlessly clean and furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The living room was large and cosy on a cold evening. There was a good selection of games which we enjoyed. The large island in the kitchen was a great social area for meals. Beds and bedding were super comfy with large head boards. Location couldn't have been better, very central and the addition of a parking spot was a big bonus. Booking through tarn escapes Ross responded quickly to our questions before we booked and was very helpful. Would certainly love to return for a second visit

Lovely, luxury apartment

Our first time staying in this apartment, having previously stayed on Lake View Loft. A lovely, luxurious feeling apartment with plenty of room. We had a very comfortable stay in this first class accommodation, lots of little details which were really appreciated, from the complimentary tea and coffee and toiletries to the well equipped kitchen. This is a perfect place to stay in Bowness. Thank you to Claire and Ross for another fantastic break.

This is a beautiful modern apartment in a really great location. The lounge is light and bright and was perfect for our 3 generations after being out and about all day. Parking was easy with the designated parking spot. Bowness is a lovely village right on the lake and was very walkable. A word of warning though, the hill is steep up to the house so it may not be great for older people with mobility issues. We had a lovely stay and would stay here again in a heartbeat.
