My husband and I spent 3 nights here for our anniversary and enjoyed every second of it. It is very peaceful, the property is gorgeous and Laurie was super friendly!
The property is just as described, cute, clean and out of the way. The animals on the farm are cute and sweet too, they love to welcome guests! I enjoyed my short stay! Will recommend and would stay again when in the area ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The ranch is wonderful, leasing someone’s life without the responsibility. Unfortunately it seemed like the host felt the same way.Filthy, for such a tiny place, every corner had mouse droppings and dirt and dust. The response from my host at one point, was that she needed to get away from her 24/7 responsibilities of her cabins. The final straw was when the glue traps placed on the kitchen counter, for the mouse, began catching roaches. If the Host was not so overwhelmed maybe she could’ve helped find an adequate or fair resolution but all she did was make me feel as though I was bothering her.Pretty sure my refund came from VRBO and not the host. VRBO was very helpful.

First and foremost I would like to request that a potential guest PLEASE read my other reviews.
From the moment this guest checked in she had one issue after another. here is a brief synopsis and how it was handled by me:
1- wasp in the cabin - I came over with wasp spray. there was no wasp
2. front door did not seal adequately- I paid my handyman to reseal the door
3- wasp “swarming guest “- I came back with wasp spray. No wasp inside. guest said they were outside- again , no wasp to spray
4- window “was broken and letting bugs in” – guest had opened the window and not closed it. I closed it and locked it, solved the problem
5- “mold in my shower”- it’s brown grout and caulk – NOT mold
6- “mouse in the house” – I placed mouse traps that did not catch a mouse
7- “bugs in the house”- guest caught 1 bug per sticky trap (I paid my pest control lady to come out 6x during her 2 week stay – pest co. said likely they came in on a Walmart pick up order)
While I do wish I could say there will never be bugs or mice in my cabins, we are on a farm and sometimes these things happen. I do have a pest control company who comes out every 4 weeks to service all my cabins. My cabins are by no means “infested”
As for the "getting away from my responsibilities"- that came AFTER the guest checked out, guest was requesting a refund. I was on a trip for the weekend and erroneously assumed my reply could wait until sunday. A complaint was filed within 24 hrs.
The tiny house was comfortable and cozy. I was happy to find a place that was pet friendly. There are beautiful horses, ponies and donkeys on the farm. At the main house there are dogs, chickens, a turkey, and a very vocal goose. We loved it.
My six year old granddaughter and I stayed in the prettiest Tiny House. It was located beside a beautiful bubbling creek. It had a queen size bed downstairs in a private bedroom. As well as a bed upstairs in a loft that overlooks the very comfortable living area. It was very well stocked with everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. I loved the deck off the living area and overlooking the creek. We enjoyed feeding all the horses and goats carrots and apples. We are wanting to go back and stay longer. Highly recommend.
I really enjoyed my stay, despite some issues. It was quiet and relaxing and a great place to get away and write. The creek behind the house is idyllic and soothing.
Regarding the negatives - The internet had a lot of problems while I was there starting the first full day (not working and/or really slow, couldn't download or stream), but owner suggested this may be a one-time issue. Also, 2/3 bulbs in main light were out, no bulbs in unit, and couldn't get replaced in my stay (3 days) even though I notified within 24 hours of arrival. They did eventually bring me a lamp, but it wasn't ideal given it's a tiny house and that was the main overhead light. Without internet, it was hard to work, and without adequate light after sundown, hard to read or do other things. Cushions for back chairs were wet and had holes in the bin on the back porch, although there were two other chairs without cushions. No firepit on back porch as described. Didn't bother to mention cushions or firepit to owner as I was more focused on internet and light and I just made do, but would have been nice.
Despite all this, I would consider returning if I felt like the issues were addressed. Owner and property manager responded to communication, but could not resolve the main issues while I was there.
Loved the creek an all the animals. Great place to unwind. We really enjoyed walking the farm and meeting all the animal . Nice to meet the friendly people who lived there.
Our time spent here was an absolute dream. During a time when the world is so fast paced this place gave us an opportunity to just slow down and enjoy life and each other. The host and her family are amazing and are very responsive when needed. We will certainly be back !! We highly recommend!!!

Tiny House on a Horse Farm
The tiny house was thoughtfully designed and decorated. The farm was nice and I especially enjoyed the big, friendly farm dogs.
Nice to unplug some and get away without the crowds
It’s a cute and well thoughtful designed tiny house. We were able to grill out and enjoy some nature and farm animals. My dog loved playing in the creek and we loved sitting on the deck listening to it. We had a great time.
The tiny house is adorable and efficient. And exactly what I needed for a little get away. Coffee and yoga on the deck by the creek, birds were plentiful and the horses beautiful. Laurie is a fantastic host, thoughtful, kind and funny. I hate to leave and will definitely be back!
Our stay here was awesome. It was so peaceful with a creek off the porch! Very beautiful property and Laurie was very friendly! Loved all of the animals and the activities in the area made it so much more!
Great tiny house on the creek with gorgeous horses and land. It was the perfect weekend getaway in a lovely setting. All the animals are friendly. We had an awesome stay and will return.

Why they chose this property
I did quite a bit of land shopping while in the market for property. This farm is the perfect blend of privacy & convenience. There is virtually no ambient light here and all the neighbors are friends. Pair this with wildlife, creeks, hills, ponds, and hilltop sunsets - the place is really hard to beat :)
What makes this property unique
All of my horses are friendly and welcome you to stroll the farm and pet them. The creek is a wonderful setting for getting a line wet or simply taking it all in and solving the world's problems.
In addition to all the amenities you would want in a stay, wifi, comfortable bed & premium quality bedding, nice, clean bathroom facilities, Flat-screen with Netflix & amazon, I have also put in an outdoor shower that view's the creek and is tiki lit at night. A wonderful calming way to end your day!
