We enjoyed our stay here. The place was very clean and had plenty of room for the 10 of us. The place was well stocked and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive. We would stay again.
Great host and amazing setting! The house is set up perfectly for a large group. Plenty of things to do if you want to stay and relax at the house or use it as a place to stay while visiting the area.
A great property, with plenty of room for a group. Stayed here on a trip to check out the Winona Ice Park and had a wonderful stay. Thank you for having us.
We weren't able to spend a lot of time at the house during this trip, but it was the perfect place to come home to at the end of a long day!!
The owners were fantastic to work with and we will definitely be back!!
Host family were very accommodating and had a great time here! Our family enjoyed the amenities, scenery and chasing turkeys. Nice people all around and property was what we needed for our stay. Very satisfied
Had a great stay at this property during fall MEA school break. Kids had a great time playing in the house and property and host Maggie left fresh eggs in the frige upon our arrival. Proximity to Winona and driftless region was excellent.
This place was amazing! More than accommodating for 4 different families. Super clean! Rented it for our fishing tournament and had ample space for 2 boats and charging them. Will definitely keep it on the radar if we have a tournament there again.
We enjoyed our stay and the beautiful scenery. My family loved seeing the deer and other animals every day. Owner is very easy to communicate with and fixed any issues we had.
This was the perfect getaway. Peaceful and relaxing, the property or guest home did not disappoint. Decorated beautifully and very clean. Maggie was very nice to communicate with and responded quickly. Highly recommend a stay here.

About the host
Hosted by Maggie McDermott
This is the place we call home and for this, we are forever thankful. This sums up our life and adventures at the end of the dead end. We purchased our initial portion of this property from our grandparents and built a home and life 15 years ago. When the time came for Granny to sell her home, we knew it was best to put the farm back together as it once was. We enjoy raising our five children where the green grass grows and pride ourselves on being good stewards of the land. We know that it gives back to us so much more than we take from it and we are all better for it. Outside of farming and sharing our slice of heaven, we work full-time as a professor and in research and development at a local plastic manufacturer.
Why they chose this property
This property is near and dear to our family and has been in the family for 3 generations. Our parents were born and raised just next door and our grandparents farmed this ridge for nearly all of their lives. We pride ourselves on carrying on the traditions and instilling in our family the value of hard work and the responsibility of caring for this land that has done the same for us.
What makes this property unique
Enjoy farm fresh eggs when available, watch the cattle graze, and take in everything the country has to offer here at Irish Ridge Farm. Some of the sights and sounds you might hear include roosters crowing in the morning, coyotes howling in the evening, and cows mooing the moments in between.
