This unit is a ground floor entrance, beachfront, 2 bedroom/2 bath condo, with twin beds in a loft. It is a split-level unit and a total of 1410 square feet. The first floor is the living room, kitchen, primary bedroom (with king bed) and bath. Second floor consist of the second bedroom (king bed), bath, and the loft with twin beds. Each level has a veranda overlooking the pool, beach, and Caribbean. The veranda on the first level is also the entrance into the condo. This unit can accommodate up to 8 guests.

Sunset Beach Resort is a 13 unit 3 building complex and 200 feet of beachfront - you heard me - 200 feet of beachfront for only 13 units. You will not feel overcrowded here.

Sunset Beach is located 2.5 miles south of San Pedro Town in a quiet residential community. Town is an easy stroll on a bicycle or a quick golf cart ride. We have even walked to town on the beach numerous times. Returning to the peace and tranquility of the south will not disappoint you.

Once you book I will contact you with all the details that you will need. I can also assist you with your local flights to the island, a golf cart rental, and any excursions you may be interested in. My documents will include the many tips and suggestions for San Pedro with restaurants, beach bars, where to grocery shop, get coffee, etc. I will provide a detailed itinerary before your arrival and list the important phone numbers you many need. I am also available at any time via a phone call, text, or e-mail. There is also an on site concierge that will be great with assisting you with all your needs once you arrive.

Beautiful condo and grounds, friendly staff

Christine was extremely easy to communicate with before our stay and provided help in booking our flights, golf cart rental, even our taxi ride pickup from the airport. Everything was smooth and seamless, from our pickup to the check-in process (easiest check in EVER with the concierge Jason who was waiting for us to arrive). The condo itself is exactly as described - comfortable, good kitchen, plenty of room to unpack and get settled. The pool and beach are so pretty, and we enjoyed swimming off the dock. You're a bit south of town but there is a small shop that is very close (within 1 min walking distance, even less in the golf cart), and one restaurant that you can easily walk to, plus several restaurants in very easy golf cart distance. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely plan to stay here again!

Beautiful and Peaceful!

Our family of 4 stayed for a fabulous and relaxing 5 nights. We really appreciated the location a bit away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro. Our teen aged kids loved the pool and the hammocks, and we enjoyed our daily morning walks up the beach front. Juan Carlos was great and set us up with a wonderful tour of Hol Chan (not to be missed!) and had a lot of other great recommendations too. The condo itself was well appointed. We cooked all of our breakfasts and dinners at "home" and appreciated having everything we needed to make a full meal. Christine was super helpful ahead of time setting up a golf cart rental and helping us with other arrangements. You won’t regret a single moment here at Sunset Beach! Except for perhaps the moment you leave.

beautiful beach, great place to stay

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Sunset Beach the week before Christmas. The condo was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Sunset Beach has the prettiest, cleanest beach for miles around. We loved relaxing on the beach or around the pool after a snorkeling trip. The location was great too—away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but a short golf cart ride to town. The owner of the condo was so helpful. She arranged our cabs to and from the airport, a golf cart rental, and a snorkeling with a wonderful guide. She also gave us lots of useful information and excellent restaurant recommendations. (The food was delicious everywhere, but especially at Wild Mangos, Hidden Treasure. and the fish tacos at the Roja Bar up north.) The concierge, Juan Carlos, and all the staff at Sunset Beach were also incredibly helpful and very friendly. The snorkeling trips were fantastic. We saw turtles almost every day, lots of big rays and nurse sharks, colorful fish, and fantastic coral. A highlight of the vacation was an all-day snorkeling and fishing trip with a beach picnic. It’s definitely worth it! It was hard to leave Sunset Beach. It’s really a wonderful place.

Fabulous Vacation!

My husband and I, and my brother and sister-in-law all rented A4 April 14-20 - unfortunately we were delayed one day due to weather. A quick email to Christine the property manager and our flights over from Belize and our golf cart rental were quickly adjusted. Christine was very responsive through the whole rental process. The rental property was clean and neat and had everything we needed. We were a little surprised at first at the limited towels available, but Juan Carlos provided additional towels as soon as I asked for them. The pool was kept immaculate and it seemed like we had it to ourselves a lot of the time. Juan Carlos arranged private fishing & snorkeling trips for just our small group of four and then they came back with us and barbequed our catch right on the beach. We enjoyed a trip to Belize for cave tubing - also arranged by Juan Carlos and had a great time - ask for tour guide Jermaine!. The grounds are clean and the island is cool and breezy, but the air conditioning was welcome at night. We had a great time and would recommend this rental to anyone vacationing here. Several times we heard that Sunset Beach Resort was among the top places to stay on the island - definitely agree!!.

Beautiful spot for a family trip

We spent a lovely 2 weeks in unit A4. The pool and grounds area were beautifully maintained and we enjoyed swimming and hanging out in the hammocks each day. Having use of the free bikes and kayaks was also a plus. The condo was laid out well for our group - my spouse and I stayed in the bedroom upstairs, our 5 yr old slept in the loft and my mom stayed in the bedroom downstairs. It was great to each have our own space and a bathroom on each level. The kitchen was nice to have so we could have some meals at home. We couldn’t find a kettle for us tea drinkers but we made do with a pot on the stove. There are fans in every room which help a lot on hot nights. The bedroom downstairs also has an ac unit which cools the place down quickly. It is a little loud so we didn’t use it when sleeping. The sofa in the living room is starting to show it’s age and is not the most comfortable but it is a pullout bed which is handy if you have a larger group. Having access to the washer/dryer was great especially when traveling with a kid for 2 weeks. The cost is a little high ($10USD/load) and you can buy smaller packs of detergent at the handy corner store. There are also a couple restaurants near buy and food stalls at Mahogany Bay which is nice if you don’t want to drive all the way into the heart of town everyday. Renting a golf cart is a must to get around but that is part of the fun too. We drove all around the island and would definitely stay at Sunset Beach again.

We had a great time! Our family of 4 stayed here (3 adults and one child) and we had a great time. Check in and out was smooth. Christine was great! She sent us an itinerary with information for checking in and out, getting a taxi from the water ferry terminal, restaurant recommendations. She also set us up with a reliable golf cart company who came and dropped off the cart when they said they would. You will definitely need a golf cart, as the condo is a few miles out of the hustle and bustle of town—which is a good thing!!! The house was well stocked and we felt at home. We would definitely return!

Our family of three enjoyed our stay at Sunset Beach. The consierge Juan Carlos was very helpful with suggestions and even helped book one of our best all day boating trips. The lovely sea breeze kept any bugs away, the diving was superb and the local food was amazing. The suggestion of a golf cart is a must, and the available kyaks were a blast! Already planning a return trip!

Paradise away from it all!

Things we loved: -The private beach area was spacious and beautiful. There were other guests there, but it didn't feel like we were on top of one another. -The pool was kept very nice. We put up the volleyball net and had other guests play - fun in the sun! -The private pier was such a nice touch for serenity and peace. Our friend took her yoga mat out there every morning and did yoga to the rising sun. -The condo was comfortable and clean. Had every kitchen item available including a blender for our own Pina Coladas (couldn't find them better anywhere else!) -The restaurants in town were awesome! We suggest Pelican Reef and Estelle's for breakfast, and Wild Mango's for lunch. -It's a bumpy ride to town on the golf cart, but made for a lot of laughs. Folks in town were very hospitable to tourist like ourselves. -Christine was on top of getting back to us with all of our questions. Kudos to her because I know my wife always has a lot of them! Dislikes: - Could have used a couple more beach towels. -The master suite on the bottom floor was very noisy when the air conditioning turned on with the bedroom door closed. The security light outside the bedroom window was a little bothersome as well. But it wasn't anything that would keep us from returning to this particular condo - I say we adapted very well. All in all, we loved our vacation and would return in a heart beat!

This was a perfect fit for our family of five. Juan Carlos was very accommodating and set up snorkeling and golf cart rental right away. Christine was more than helpful in all of her communications. Recommendations for food was very helpful. We wish we were there for more days to take advantage of the bikes and kayaks. Having a pool there was perfect. Great stay...beautiful ocean. My name is Christine Cotten, owner of Belize Travel Adventures. I began my travels to Belize in early 2004. Immediately falling in love with the country I continued visiting, making at least four trips a year. I have had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the entire country of Belize, and I can tell you that Sunset Beach is one of my favorite properties in San Pedro. The owners do a great job of keeping up the property and paying a lot of attention to detail. Sunset Beach is the perfect location being 2.5 miles south of San Pedro Town. The south end of Ambergris Caye is so peaceful, and Sunset Beach is just minutes away from town while traveling down a mostly paved road. About 1/4 mile before you reach Sunset Beach the road becomes nice and sandy that is well maintained.

This unique property sits on 200 feet of beachfront for only 13 units, which never gives you the feeling of being over crowded.

I can also assist you with all your needs while in Belize (booking your local flights, a golf cart rental, or any excursions you may be interested in). I will pass on my many suggestions and tips for the area.
