Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review. We’re delighted to hear the cottage was such a great fit for your family and your dog, and that the location worked perfectly for exploring Keswick on foot. Being so close to Fitz Park, the town centre, and Derwentwater really does make it an ideal base, so it’s wonderful to know you were able to make the most of everything right on the doorstep. We’re also pleased to hear the cottage had everything you needed for your stay and that the doggy welcome box was appreciated by your four-legged family member! Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review — and for choosing to return to Red Robin for a second stay. That really does mean a lot to us. We’re delighted to hear the comfort of the house and its central location continue to make it such a great choice for you, especially with Fitz Park so close by. It sounds like you made the most of your time in the area while still keeping things relaxed — we love the idea of parking up and not needing to move the car all week! It’s also great to hear about Podgy Paws — what a brilliant solution for getting out and about with your older dog and still enjoying everything the Lakes has to offer. We’re so pleased you had another great stay and would be absolutely delighted to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

We appreciate your comments regarding the deeper cleaning and the outside area. While the property is cleaned thoroughly between each stay, we understand that some areas can benefit from additional attention from time to time, and we've passed your comments on to our housekeeping team. Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely and thoughtful review. We’re delighted you found us by chance and that Red Robin turned out to be such a wonderful place to stay — sometimes those unexpected finds are the very best! It’s great to hear you enjoyed the peaceful setting while still being just a short walk into the centre of Keswick, and that the cottage itself ticked all the boxes — especially that kitchen of dreams! We’re also really pleased to know everything was spotlessly clean and well laid out for your stay. Thank you as well for your honest comment about the sofa. Comfort can be quite a personal thing, particularly when settling down for an evening film, so we do appreciate you mentioning it and will pass it on for consideration. Your kind words about our team are especially appreciated — it’s always lovely to hear that you found everyone friendly and helpful when getting everything organised. We’re so pleased you had such a great stay and that you’d happily return — we’d be absolutely delighted to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Hi, Alison! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts — we really appreciated reading your review. It’s lovely to hear that you’ve stayed in Keswick many times and that Red Robin has earned a special place on your list. That quiet, peaceful spot really is one of its big charms, and we’re so glad it worked well for you and your family. We’re thrilled you found the cottage well?appointed too, especially for self?catering with little ones in tow. We always aim to make things feel genuinely practical and comfortable, so it’s wonderful to know it helped your holiday run smoothly. And your “moan” is absolutely fair — and something we agree with wholeheartedly. It’s frustrating for us too, and we completely understand that popping to recycling points isn’t how anyone wants to spend their precious days away. Your feedback is very much heard, and we continue to raise this with the local authority whenever possible. Most importantly, we’re delighted that despite the bin battle, you had a lovely time. That’s exactly what we hope for every guest who stays with us. Thanks again for your kind words — we’d love to welcome you back to Red Robin on your next Keswick adventure. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Thank you so much for your 5-star review! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay at Red Robin and that you found it well equipped for your party. We are looking forward to filling the planters this summer. Apologies about the one key, the previous guests had accidentally taken the other set. We hope you had a wonderful time and we hope to welcome you back soon! Best Wishes, Keswick Cottages

Hello, Ian! We're so happy that you enjoyed your stay! It really is the little touches that make all the difference. We take a lot of pride in our properties, and always consider what would give the extra 'WOW' if we were staying there. Red Robin can be home to up to six guests, and as well as its amazing garden and generally cosy, home-from-home atmosphere, is embellished with modern details such as the Smart TV, dishwasher, and utility room with washer and dryer facilities-- another perfect perk for those travelling with children or pets, or those planning to brave a few muddy walks during their stay! We'd love to welcome you again. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Thank you for your amazing 5* review! We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Red Robin. We're glad that you were able to get parked close to the property despite someone else nabbing the spot outside, there is plenty of parking in the area at least which is handy! It was our pleasure to help during your stay, we're happy that you got sorted and were able to enjoy the rest of your holiday. We hope that you will visit again, we'd love to host you for another break! Best wishes, Keswick Cottages
