Casa Major

Take in the natural scenery at Casa Major. The 360° views are breathtaking, surrounded by forests and meadows, located at the entrance to l'Aixàviga, a hamlet of Mont-ral. Countless hiking trails and excursions, and close to great dining options.

The house was built in the late 1990s on the site of an old barn with a threshing floor; it is very well insulated—both thermally and acoustically—with double-chambered stone walls approximately 60 cm thick.

The two-story interior features a terrace and a garage; it is very bright, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details.

Included in the price, in addition to a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, are: bed linens, towels, shower gel and hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, a hair dryer, dish soap and hand soap; liquid dish soap and dishwasher detergent, various types of trash bags for different recycling categories, and barbecue utensils.

We provide our guests with a detailed list of excursions and points of interest, as well as a list of all the extra kitchen utensils you’ll find in our kitchen.

Pets are welcome.

Great stay in a beautiful and cosy house

The house was very comfortable and well equipped, the hosts were friendly and helpful. Beautiful views, from the house and also in the surroundings! Because the house lies in the middle of mountains and fields, you need a car there for shopping and making excursions. Except from a specialized bakery (with all kinds of delicious madeleines), the nearest shop is 12 kms away. Very interesting cities, monastries, but also the Mediterranean beach (Cambrills) at a reasonable distance. Perfect house for adults who love nature, old cities, culture and rest, shouldn't advise it for children.

Good stay

nearly everything was fine. Ester is a kind host and the house was aus expected and clean.only a few (little) things weren't good. the "dirt road", 50m before the house, is not enough for every normal car. a few things got out of stock too early: trash bags, dish washer etc.bialettis were not ready to use.
