This quaint older home (built in 1902) was fully renovated and refurnished in 2015. Just 4 houses from the beach, it is a 3 bedroom apartment in a two family house.
The Unit is on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a clean and tidy, home. It is not handicap accessible.
One bathroom with indoor shower. One outdoor shower Kitchen with 4 gas burner stovetop, microwave, apartment size refrigerator. There is no oven. Large toaster oven is available. Kitchen has a blender, electric kettle, small hand mixer, wine openers and cooking pots, pans and utensils. Air conditioning units in all bedrooms and living room. Apple Smart TV, Netflix, Internet. Small radio/CD player. Just 4 houses from the beach. Small deck, Gas BBQ grill. No smoking - no pets. Linens and towels provided. All bedrooms have a hair dryer located in the dresser. A flat-iron for hair styling is located in the bathroom. Bathroom has first aid kit located under the sink. 4 Adult bikes are provided. 1 wagon for luggage from ferry dock to house provided. We provide 6 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, 6 beach towels/mats.
Our property is located on a quiet family friendly block. We will only rent to families and responsible adults over 25 years old. No rowdy rentals, or large parties.
Kitchen has cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, salt & pepper, olive oil.
For guest stays one week or less, we provide the necessities of toilet paper paper towels, and paper napkins.
4 night minimum. $575/night (May - September 15th) $500/night (September 15th - October 31st) $1000. security deposit. $200.00 cleaning fee.
This unit is comfortable for 4-6 people.
We are currently accepting rentals for the 2020 season.

We had a very nice time at the house - location and accommodations were spot on. Our host, Ursula, was very accommodating and even helped arrange a golf cart ride from the ferry for my ninety year old mother in-law. Overall, I highly recommend it.
My family and I loved Ursula’s beach house in Ocean Bay Park, the house was the ideal location super close to the beach with everything we needed to enjoy the beach. The outdoor deck with grill made it to the perfect place to unwind. Ursula was a fantastic host with great communication. The outdoor shower was amazing - Ursula clearly cares about her guests and made sure to check in if we needed anything after our first night. Would highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay!

The location was perfect. This place had everything we wanted. Wagon, bikes, and outdoor showers were awesome additional features. Ursula did a great job receiving us and was responsive to questions. We look forward to comimg back here next year.

Great location. Cute, quaint beach apartment.
Our family has been vacationing on Fire Island for a number of year but this was our first year renting instead of staying at the FI Hotel. Our experience was all that we had hoped for (and more). The location of the apartment was perfect. It is just four houses from the beach and close to Ocean Bay Park restaurants, delis, ferry and the FI Hotel (with its restaurant/bar/pool). The apartment was clean, quaint and complete with everything we needed to make our stay relaxing. Ursula was extremely accommodating in helping us to finalize our dates (arriving mid-week) and was responsive to all of our questions during our stay. We are a family of 5 with a 4 year old and 2 teenagers. Everyone had their own room, air conditioning, wifi, apple TV, an abundance of beach towels, fresh linens, a functional kitchen, a grill, a nice sized deck to enjoy meals and the sunrise, board games, puzzles and playing cards. There was a wagon waiting for us at the ferry upon arrival (which was a huge help) and a lovely gift basket with wine and coffee in the apartment. We were also able to take advantage of the two adult bikes offered with the apartment. Overall, our stay was excellent and the apartment was exactly as described which perfectly suited the needs of our family.

So convenient, quaint, and quiet!
Great experience with this beach condo rental. Close to the beach (only 4 houses) and a short walk to restaurants, grocery, bike rental and nightlife. Ursula was quick to respond to all our questions and made sure we had all the information we needed. Will definately be visiting again!

GREAT LOCATION BUT NEEDS SOME WORK
Pros: 4 houses to the ocean, quiet block, living space and bedrooms were clean, comfortable and air conditioned. Kitchen was small but functional. Linens and towels were provided and new. Beach chairs and umbrella were also provided.
Cons: yard was unruly and unkept, bathroom needs a total remodel thank god for the outside shower! Railing on deck was loose and scary.
With a few more renovations this could be a lovely beach house.Ursula was very accommodating and answered any questions we had. Overall we had a nice vacation.

Thank you for your review. Our house is one of the original homes in Ocean Bay Park (built in 1902). The upstairs unit, which you rented has been completely refurnished and repainted in 2016. Our bathroom is small, and although the floor has been re-tiled, and the room re-painted, we have not replaced the toilet,sink or shower stall which probably are 10-15 years old.
The yard is part of the ground floor unit, and is not included for use for tenants renting the upstairs unit. We are still in the process renovating the downstair unit, and landscaping the backyard will be completed sometime next year. The front of the house, including the entrance to the upstairs unit, was landscaped and planted Spring of 2018.
I am glad you brought the issue of the deck railing to our attention. I have since sent my maintenance man to remedy the wobbliness of the railing.
We try to address all rental issues promptly.
And therefore, your review is valuable to us.
