This was a ladies trip and the place was exactly as pictured. The rooms were very nice and beds were super comfy! Of note, the 8th suite is outside the gated house under the pool, with no inside access to the rest of the house so we did not feel comfortable using it. The concierge/owner did a great job coordinating the chef, bartender, food, drinks, drivers, etc. before and after we arrived. The beach nearby was very nice with good service and lots of shade. Unfortunately, there was no one to speak English, which we felt contributed to some miscommunication, despite the use of Google Translate. But with that said, everyone was very accommodating.I would recommend hairdryers, safes, tissues, and a small dresser in every room. We had to lay our suitcases out on the floor, and there were concerns that we might take bugs home with us. Some of the ladies also felt there should have been more lighting at the bathroom mirrors. We were all required to carry a large amount of cash because everyone wanted to be paid in USD. There were no safes, but the concierge did arrange to have one installed in the main floor bedroom the day after we arrived. I would also suggest a railing on the stairs from the pool level to the main floor, as well as some type of rubber mat near the pool to prevent falls. With that said, we would definitely recommend Casa Flor and would certainly stay there again. Kudos to everyone for an unforgettable stay!!!
