The apartment is very quiet, comfortable and well-equipped with everything needed for a stay after a trip to the nearby grocery store. The kitchen is full-service, including stove, big fridge, dishwasher and stocked dishes and small appliances. Hosts Suzanne & Marlon are fruendly, delightful folks. I highly recommended this lovely, peaceful apartment.

Perfect Stay

Susanna and her husband were the perfect host making sure we were happy with the place and to make sure we had everything we needed. My wife and I were extremely pleased with our stay and would definitely stay there again. I would also recommend this place to anybody looking for a place to stay.

Warm and well equipped

Very cosy, good location, warm and very quiet. It was still pretty cold outside in March but we were fine. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen and very friendly hosts who we were disappointed not to meet as they were down south for the winter.

Quiet and clean

I had a 3-night stay in June and the property was exactly what I needed: close to where I needed to be, modern, clean and QUIET. I didn’t use the TV, or the kitchen much at all but it was well-equipped. The laundry, bed, bath and shower were great. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the far west suburbs who wants a quiet place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The bed is so comfortable! I haven’t slept so good in a very long time. The unit had everything we needed! Everything we as perfectly cleaned! They were very responsive to every question we had. Recommend some very nice restaurants and ice cream shops! We can not wait for our next stay here! 10 stars!! Amazing place!!! Thanks y'all, wish more VRBOs would take pride in their units like yall!!!!!!

Perfect for 2 people

Apartment was decorated nicely and large enough for 2 people. It was off a fairly busy street and was difficult to see cars coming from the left. Overgrown trees blocked the view and should be trimmed. Kitchen was well equipped and has a laundry with detergent supplied. The place was cold but owners encouraged us to use the heaters. Maybe a dehumidifier would help. Stairs were a little tricky for my husband who uses a cane. Mattress was uncomfortable. Floor under the bed was really dusty. Wished the lock wouldn’t lock so fast and we had to unlock the door several times while trying to load and unload. Shower was really nice and included a personal shower head. Toilet is very low and difficult for my husband. Owners were very attentive to our needs.

Lovely and comfortable

We had to get out of our home quickly because of damage from a tree, and this cozy apartment came to the rescue. The hosts were very accommodating and we felt at home while there. It was a comfortable “home base” that allowed us to continue to live our daily lives. The quiet location was a nice diversion from the stress happening in our life. It would make a wonderful couples get away too. It was just what we needed.

Peaceful, clean and comfortable

We stayed for a long weekend in this apartment. The property is as pictured and very attractive. The furniture is very comfortable, the space is very clean, and kitchen is huge. This garden level apartment has plenty of light and a lovely entrance. The owner is very responsive. It is situated about 4 miles from downtown St. Charles and very near a terrific park district with disc golf and walking paths.

Even better than the photos!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The place is beautiful, clean, and even better stocked than the photos. For one, now there are a nice work desk and chair for quick work by the entrance. Washer and dryers are brand new. We got to meet Marlon and Susanna briefly and it was a total pleasure as well. Hope to come back to enjoy the idyllic town and relax.

Why they chose this property

We love living in St Charles and enjoy this gem that we found on a 3/4 acre wooded lot. We enjoy a little bit of rural, yet are so close to all the amenities we need, downtown restaurants and festivals. The bike trails we have access to are awesome. We feel we have the best of both worlds.
