Quarry House is situated just outside Aberporth, Ceredigion. The property was built in the early 1900s and is located on one of the main routes into the lovely seaside village. Quarry House is only a short drive down to the sea and into the charming village, which has become a popular destination for a family holiday. Aberporth is home to two stunning sandy beaches that you can relax and sunbathe on, and is ideal for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. The village has a wonderful pub, hotel, cafes, takeaways and shops equipped with everything you will need.
There is a public footpath which can be found opposite the property and is ideal for dog walking. This cottage is perfect for exploring the coast path, providing fantastic views along the coast and out over Cardigan Bay. The Bay is famous for its bottlenose dolphins, which can often be seen playing among the waves. Follow the Wales Coast Path eastwards towards Tresaith, and you'll find yourself at another charming coastal village.

OUTSIDE Quarry House has a large rear garden with patio. There is a stream at the bottom of the garden. There is an outdoor shower (cold water supply only) ideal for dogs or for cleaning off sandy wetsuits, paddle boards, etc. Driveway parking for 2 cars, or off-road parking for 2 cars. There is also space for one car to be parked opposite the property across the road.

Garden update: We’re pleased to share that the garden has undergone improvements in January 2026 to install new secure dog fencing — great news for four-legged guests . As part of these works, some areas of the lawn have been reseeded.
