LOCATION

This spacious 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Condo, is located directly on the beach on Okaloosa Island. It is the end unit on the top floor on the western side of the building. The end location offers a stunning front AND side view of the beautiful emerald water, sugar white sand, and amazing sunsets. Looking down the coast, the gulf front town of Navarre can be seen on the western horizon.

LOCATION

Okaloosa Island is a secluded 2 mile strip of condos and homes on the white sand of the Gulf of Mexico. No high rises are allowed on Okaloosa and this property has only 4 stories and 24 units, so your time can be spent vacationing rather than waiting on elevators. It is about a mile walk down the beach to gulf front restaurants, specialty stores, the Pier, and Gulfarium. Traffic congestion doesn't exist on Okaloosa.

LOCATION

1.5 miles west over Brooks Bridge is the Town of Ft. Walton Beach. 5 miles east over undeveloped seashore is Destin.

A small convenience store is within a few steps of the parking lot.

If you decide to leave the beach- Shopping (malls, specialty boutiques, factory outlets), fishing (surf, pier, bridge, bay, and gulf charter), cruises (dolphin and sunset), grocery stores, golf (several excellent courses), libraries, watersport rentals, marinas, historical tours, a convention center, and hundreds of other restaurants are within a short drive away.

We just returned from a week at this condo and we throughly enjoyed it! The unit is clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need for a perfect beach getaway. We especially loved the beautiful views from the large balcony and the uncrowded beach access just outside the door. Russ is a joy to work with..very kind and responsive. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful property

The location of the property and view from balcony is fantastic. Smaller condo complex, so beach is less crowded and beach service is a great bonus. There was an elevator issue on arrival, but Russ was very responsive and issue was resolved early the next day. He definitely made things right. Interior was clean and comfortable, Highly recommend.

This is our second year to stay in this unit. It’s very quiet inside. Plus, it has two extra balconies. One faces the parking but the other is on the side of the building facing west and incredible sunsets. It’s also great to check out the beach conditions and the flags. The location is easily accessible and only a short drive near anything you might need. It’s 11 minutes to Destin and the Waterfront Village, full of restaurants, shops, and water sports rentals. There is a short path to the beach, which is never crowded, and there is a pool on the property! Grills to use for outdoor cooking are available. The pool is a great congregation spot. It’s a great place to stay!!!

Adding to memories

This is our 5th year staying at the Aqua Villa. Each year it never disappoints the private beach and location is awesome. The grounds are very well kept. We loved the corner view from the top floor! It was very relaxing to wake up abd eat breakfast and see the suagr white sand and the beautiful gulf. The room was very well kept cozy and comfortable. The owner russ is awesome and easy to work with. We will definitely be back for another stay

Best Unit in Complex

This unit has the best view of all units available. The corner units are the only ones with dedicated balconies, and it is well worth securing one. Every night we had a front row seat for the sunset. We had a great relaxing time over Thanksgiving. Front window could use some TLC, but we didn’t mind that much. Lovely time.

Too good to pass up . . .

This was the best stay we have had in a while. The unit was immaculate, comfortable, and everything functioned properly. The owner was very helpful, friendly, and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The location is quiet but close enough to popular restaurants and shopping that you get the best of both worlds without the hassle of waiting for elevators or enduring noisy late night events. And the view. Ah. The view is positively spectacular. We will most definitely be returning!

Great Condo

We had a great time on our vacation! This condo was very clean and plenty of space for our family of 4. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Loved the view and the balcony. It was so nice having windows on two walls in the living space. Being on the end of this building was a plus, as more private and can enjoy the outdoor balcony space. Loved the beach and chair service. The water was amazing!! Smaller building means less people at the beach! Nice pool too, but we spent our time at the beach. Great restaurants near by and convenience store steps away was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again when we come back to this area. Russ was very helpful and quick to answer any questions. Thank you for everything!

Enjoyed our stay!

Property was clean. Beds slept well. Kitchen was well stocked. Property owner was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. There were sand toys in the closet which was a huge blessing and saved me $30 in sand toy purchases while we were there. The street is all condos and very quiet which we liked. It’s so close to everything too - grocery stores, shopping, entertainment and excursions and restaurants. We really enjoyed the location. Two things I didn’t realize at first (and are disclosed I just missed them) is that the building is older and the doors and stairwell are on the beach side of the property and there is no washer and dryer inside the unit. There is a community laundry room on each floor that you can pay to use. This wasn’t an issue for us but something I think people should definitely know before they go. Again - these facts weren’t “hidden” but also weren’t obvious and I didn’t realize until we got there/the day before. Overall it was a great stay with wonderful memories made!

We had a great time! Great weather and loved that it was right on the beach with a pool out front too! We also loved the restaurants and seafood. The lady keeping the building and daily upkeep was great and shared good tips on timing for dining. We walked the beaches daily and the beach chairs and umbrella set up was an added bonus. The only complaint would be this; The full size beds may need updating as they are old and sink in the middle. And the sheets and towels may need a refresh of new ones! All in all we would definitely come again. Oh and Russ was great to deal with and are the preparations super easy as he was helpful and very prompt in answering questions along the way - thank you!

I 1000% recommend #406 for the beautiful front/side view of the gulf! The condo was very clean, updated & had that beach house feel! Not to mention Russ was an awesome host and I will definitely rent from him again when we are back in the area. You will not regret choosing this condo for your family beach vacation!

The view was spectacular from front and side windows, right on the beach. We had some TV issues but the owner worked hard to get this fixed. The living room furniture is old though and needs to be replaced as well as the smaller guest room beds as they were very very noisy and collapsed. Otherwise I would recommend this smaller building for it's privacy and uncrowded beaches. We have repeatedly gone back to this building.

Good unit on a great beach

We enjoyed the unit. It was clean and functional. We felt the location on the top floor far western corner was the best in the building. The bedding was comfortable. The unit looks like it has been refurbished. We would have liked a ceiling fan in the master bedroom but the A/C worked well. The kitchen had good appliances that all worked with sufficient glassware, dinnerware, pans, and utensils. The building is an older building in need of maintenance and upkeep. But this met our needs. The beach itself is really nice with great sand and the chair service that comes with the unit is very good. Russ, the unit owner, was great to work with and very responsive as well as proactive, although we didn't have any issues requiring his involvement.
