The unit was beautiful and clean, and the sunset views from the balcony were breathtaking! We didn’t have to contact the host because they had already thought of everything we would need! We loved the fact that we were not in the middle of a lot of people, but we were close enough to walk to lots of restaurants by either walking on the beach or down the road! We also enjoyed having 2 recliners to relax in while watching movies in the evenings! We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at the gulf and the bay side at this resort and both have advantages. The views from this unit faced the sunset which was a beautiful perk. The owner was quick to answer questions when needed. We would definitely book this unit again! Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Great rental for small families

The space was great. We had a great view of the beach with direct beach access from the property. All of the popular things to do and places to eat were 5 to 10 minute walk. Destin was a also a short drive away with more attractions. The staff were friendly and the facilities were clean. Would definitely stay again and refer to freinds.

Relaxing stay

This is a great place to stay! It’s exactly as described with beautiful pool and short walk to the beach. The beach is beautiful and the water was very clear when we visited. This unit comes with 2 chairs and umbrella but recommend going down before they open to get in line in order to get a front row seat closest to the ocean. My family very much enjoyed our trip!

This is our second vacation rental at Destin West our other unit is Gulfside 611. We loved our first one so much we purchased another. We love the beach and everything about the entire area. There is so much to do or do nothing at all!

Why they chose this property

The beautiful beach is right outside our door. There are great pools, a lazy river and going barefoot into the bars is awesome! No shoes, no shirt, no problem! We like to go downtown Fort Walton Beach to the little, local movie theater where the service pizza & beer. Also, we like to shop there at the Publix in Fort Walton and other shops. In the summer there is a lot less traffic in Fort Walton Beach.

We upgraded both of our units to feel like your at home. We supply everything needed including DVD's, beach chairs and more. All you need to do is bring your clothes.
