Stay at the traditional, unique Zermatter Stadel ( ancient wooden building used as barn & storage room)
You stay on 3 floors with a fantastic view of the Matterhorn.
On the first floor there is a small entrance, a sauna and a lovely bathroom, a feel-good oasis with rain shower.
Via the spiral staircase you reach the original barn from the basement. Here you will find a modern equipped kitchen, a small sofa, a dining table for 2 people and a TV with soundbar.
Another staircase leads you to the attic.
Through the skylight you can watch the starry sky from your king size bed.

Our holiday apartments with a fantastic view of the Matterhorn are situated in a very quiet, sunny location, surrounded by old wooden Valais barns and stunning nature in the south of Zermatt "uf de Biele", only a few steps away from the bus stop "Kapelle Winkelmatten".
Restaurants, a children's playground and the beautiful Winkelmatten chapel are just steps away. The bottom station of Matterhorn Glacier Paradise can be reached on foot in 5 minutes, also the village and the other hiking/skiing areas can be reached by bus in a few minutes only.
Electric taxis will bring you comfortably to the front door

Patric and Stephi were amazing and gracious hosts. They were very friendly and allowed us to feel at home while we were far away. The property was in excellent shape and was so clean and comfy. Great views. Can’t say enough good things about our stay here. We will definitely come back!

Had a wonderful stay here. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and just down the block from a playground. Easy access to the gondola and a short walk for groceries and restaurants. The place was completely spotless and very comfortable. The kitchen is nicely outfitted and has everything you need to prepare meals. The washer/dryer are shared but free, and just around the corner from this unit. The host was friendly and easy to contact. Would stay again!

Our 3 night stay in Zermatt was unforgettable. The Julien family was very friendly and helpful. They provided advice on sites to see and where to eat. The accommodations were great and exceeded expectations. Views of the Matterhorn were breathtaking. The fit and finishes of the apartment were top-notch. If you don’t mind a little hike to town, this is the place to be. Hope to return before too long.

Eine super schöne Unterkunft, mit super netten Gastgebern. Einfach klasse zum Wohlfühlen. Die Unterkunft ist super ausgestattet und hat einen tollen Flair! Wir haben unsere Tage dort echt genossen. Und es sind zu Fuß nur 5 zur Gondel. In Summe also einfach zu empfehlen.
