We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful villa. The hosts were very kind and had provided food and drinks in the fridge for our arrival which we were most grateful for. The pool was very clean and the view of the olive grove was stunning. Such a fabulous location for exploring Puglia, close to Brindisi airport and we managed to explore Ostuni, Carvigno, Monopoli, Polignano a mare and Francavilla Fontana for the antique fair. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed for our family stay. Great communication and a very warm welcome was given to us. Amazing place to stay in Puglia.

The North/South alignment of the villa provided a welcome area of shade on the patio which remained all day. The seating on the patio was very comfortable enabling a very restful and tranquil view across the pool area and down through the olive trees to the end of the property. The kitchen was well equipped if you wished to dine in, with a large fridge/freezer, although the storage for any dry goods (cereal packets/bread for example) was very limited. The large walk-in shower in the ensuite of bedroom 1 was excellent and the king-sized bed very comfortable. The only minor complaint regarding this room was the fact that the owner had reserved (locked) the large drawers in the chest of draws for their own use, leaving only three small drawers for use. The description of the double bed in bedroom 2 was a little misleading in that it was a double bed base, with two single mattresses placed together. Unfortunately, the mattresses did not stay together when someone tried to sleep on it. Bedroom 3 had a comfortable double bed with its ideally situated bathroom just outside its door. Despite the few issues described above , we had a very pleasant and relaxing holiday in this property.

La maison est très bien située pour visiter les Pouilles. Elle est au calme. L'allée pour les voitures est étroite. La maison est bien orientée avec le soleil sur la terrasse le matin uniquement. Le rangement dans la cuisine est insuffisant. Un des lits (grande chambre) est très dur. Le bruit de la pompe (puits artésien) est très gênant et Antonio nous a modifié les horaires d'arrosage initialement prévu la nuit. Le fait que l'eau ne soit pas potable oblige à acheter de l'eau en permanence. Sinon la maison est agréable et Antonio est très sympathique, très disponible et réactif. La piscine est grande et bien entretenue. Les installations sanitaires (douches) sont vieillissantes et mériteraient d'être changées. Nous avons cependant passé un très bon moment dans cette maison.

Bonjour Henri, Je suis désolée que certains aspects de votre séjour à la Villa Ulivo ne vous aient pas donné entière satisfaction. Les matelas sont tous orthopédiques et d'excellente qualité. La cuisine est bien équipée, tout en gardant à l'esprit qu'il s'agit d'une maison de vacances. Quant au bruit de la pompe à eau, c'est une caractéristique propre aux puits artésiens ; elle ne se déclenche que lorsque l'eau est puisée ou que le système d'arrosage des plantes se met en marche. Je remercie Antonio d'avoir modifié l'horaire d'arrosage pour vous. Merci d'avoir séjourné chez nous ; je suis ravie que vous ayez passé de bonnes vacances.
