About this property

Charming bastide, between the Luberon and historic quaint Aix en Provence.

A fantastic setup for anyone wanting to spend time in Provence, a spacious house where all bedrooms have fully equipped private stone bathrooms. There is a 15 metre long pool, perfect for relaxing around or swimming, and a tennis court for those wanting more. Outside there is a large terrace and semi indoor area for al fresco eating surrounded by a beautiful well maintained garden with shady areas for cooling off and a fountain for those who want to relax to the sound of running water.

The house is situated in calm countryside, 5 minutes from picturesque Rognes, which has a selection of good restaurants, a wine bar and shops where you can buy excellent quality food. We are not far from many pretty Luberon villages, all with great restaurants, and private domains such as Chateau Lacoste where you can taste wine or simply appreciate the local culture. Rognes also has many trails for walkers or mountain bike lovers. There are lots of attractions for children in the area and we are only 1 hour from the beach.

The nearest city is Aix en Provence is one of the most attractive, historical cosmopolitan cities in France, with a great selection of markets, shops, bars and restaurants.

magnifique

Superbe propriété, état de propreté et d'entretien impeccable, beau jardin en devenir, la piscine est immense et permet une vraie nage, l'accueil et la gentillesse de la propriétaire sont d'une rare qualité. Seul bémol en cas de très forte chaleur ce qui arrive désormais souvent en plein mois d'août, la réfrigération au sol est un peu insuffisante, les chambres gagneraient à être climatisées, mais je crois que c'est en projet! Un séjour superbe que l'on ne peut que recommander.
