Spacious, comfortable and bright apartment in the Tuscolano neighbourhood, a short distance from the San Giovanni area. The apartment is located at 450 meters from the Furio Camillo metro station (line A), the historic center and all places of interest can be reached in a few stops. This 145sqm apartment consists of 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, balconies and a kitchen and is located on the sixth floor with an elevator. The Tuscolano neighbourhoos is located in the southeast of Rome, close to the Aurelian Walls and takes its name from the Via Tuscolana, the ancient medieval road that ran from Porta San Giovanni in Rome to the Roman castles in Tusculum (what is then today Frascati). Today the via Tuscolana, which runs parallel to the via Appia, starts from Piazza Sulmona and reaches the locality of Macere (Artena).
This area, which sees the presence of many different architectural styles, is bordered by the Aqueducts Park, a true green oasis as well as a precious testimony to Rome's historical and archaeological heritage. The Tuscolano district is also renowned for the famous Cinecittà film studios, the most important production centre of the Italian film industry, and the Cinecittà Due shopping center, the first one built in Rome. The area is full of stores, supermarkets, restaurants and bars; Via Appia can be considered, after the chic streets of the historic center, one of the most important shopping streets in Rome. Don't miss the new "Happio" shopping center on Via Appia 448, with more than 30 stores and restaurants (open daily, 09 a.m.-9 p.m., restaurants 10 a.m.-24 p.m., 7 days a week).
- Metro A, Furio Camillo station - 7 minutes on foot (450 m)
- Roma Tuscolana Station (FR1) - 8 minutes (600 m) .
With public transport it is possible to reach these tourist places: - St. Peter's Square: metro A, Ottaviano stop (25 minutes) and Piazza del Popolo: metro A, Flaminio stop (20 minutes)
This apartment is located outside the restricted traffic area and parking on the road is normally subject to a fee (delimited by blue stripes), from 8.00 to 20.00 with an ordinary rate of € 1.00 per hour outside the ZTL. A private closed parking garage is located near the apartment.
