Good size, excellent location if you like isolated and nature. Traditional building. Well equipped, nice feel to the property Should make clear that you need to bring your own towels Should use the council food waste collection service, and not advise to mix in with the general waste

North Wales stay

Our family of six had a wonderful time in Caernarfon. The cottage was spacious and very private and close to the sea and walking distance to local amenities. Well worth the visit!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is as described and in a beautiful location. It’s a bit of a walk to the centre of Caernarfon, but a really nice walk. My son enjoyed two rounds of golf at the club next door, who were very welcoming. Great sunset from the 14th tee! John (host) was quick to welcome us and checked in a couple of times to make sure everything was okay.The reason I’ve given it 4 stars is that the property is a little tired and no towels were supplied. But other than that, it was great.

The location of this property is lovely. We would have loved to stay an extra few days. Very private and peaceful surrounded by some lovely trees but with Caernarfon a good 15 minute walk away. Lots of nice restaurants (La Marina Cei and Fu's were amazing) and the castle is definitely worth a visit. Property is very comfortable although could have been a little cleaner as lots of dusty corners and cobwebs and smelt a little damp as though it had been closed up for a while. We opened all the windows and that seemed to help. Very well equipped but please take your own towels and a shower mat if possible as we got there and ended up buying some towels as they are not provided which is unusual. Also be careful if you have a low car as the track to the property is rather uneven although this just adds to the privacy. We would be happy to return for another visit armed with our new towels of course. Sue & John
