Had a very nice overnight stay prior to departing on a cruise. Location was convenient. Communication with the host was fantastic, we arrived late and the host provided very detailed and helpful instructions (video tutorial). Very comfortable king sized bed. Highly recommend 👍

Let me start by saying our host, Daniel was top notch. Friendly and very helpful. We were traveling with a baby and he had a portable crib available. He arranged transportation from FCO to the apartment for a reasonable cost. The apartment is lovely, just as it looks in the pictures. Air conditioners in each bedroom and in the living area. Very important for Italy in August. The unfortunate part was that the electricity went off in the apartment and never came back on. We had only been there for about an hour. Daniel offered us accommodation at one of his other properties or a full refund which would have left us homeless. We accepted the other property which was not a comparable location or unit. No kitchen, just 2 beds and bathrooms. The location of the 2nd unit did not compare to the first, much further from the port and limited choices for food. There was no offer of reducing our fee to make up for the additional costs we incurred. The first apartment was perfect so we were very disappointed. I'll review the first apartment as best I can but we didn't stay there. The 2nd location is not listed on VRBO.

This was perfect for our one night stay! Great AC, comfy bed, a table for our pastry breakfast, and we even used the washer for a load of clothes. There was a walkable beach for a dip in the ocean and lots of walkable restaurants. Thanks, Daniel!!

Excellent Service and a Fantastic Stay

It was extremely easy to work with the host. He greeted us when we arrived, showed us around and even setup our bags for us. He went above and beyond many other hosts. The location was great and the facility was very clean and modern. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful apartment

Daniel was the best! He was kind and quick to answer texts. checked to make sure we needed anything and was quick to recommend places to eat. Evening steered us away to a tourist trap and instead to an amazing meal at a local restaurant. the place was located perfectly for those who are going on cruise and want to get there the night before.

The property was beautiful and looked precisely as shown in the VRBO listing. Access from the main buidling level was easy, with direct stairs and an elevator, which was very handy. The property host, David, was very accessible and friendly, responded promptly to any issues we had. The beds were comfortable and the apartment felt secure and cozy with the a/c. The location was walkable to restaurants, grocery stores, and more. Overall, and excellent rental choice.For transparency, however, there were a few minor issues. First, the bathroom had strong odur of sewage when we first arrived. We call and David came to secure a drain cover believed to be the source. Thereafter, it was less prominent. Second, the showed drain was very slow and caused water to overflow the shower and cover the bathroom floor. This made showering difficult and left a huge wet mess after each person showered. Lastly, in the early morning (6:30am), there was construction in the building. It involved cement jackhammering which awoke the whole family and went on for 3 hours. Not the hosts fault by any means and fully out of his control. But it was disturbing and disrupted our sleep on a night we intended to get as much rest as possible. Just frustrating and important to note here.Would I stay here again, probably. Do I recommend it, yes, but with caveat to ask about these things being resolved when booking.

The communication was very frustrating as the host wanted to communicate offline rather than through the platform and sent multiple messages and videos rather than just one simple message with instructions. The heat was off when we arrived so the apartment took several hours to become warm and the neighbors were very loud. We only stayed one night so maybe the hassles would have felt more worth it for a longer stay
