My wife and I have stayed at several properties through VRBO ourselves and with friends and family. Our stay at the Mowita was one of the best. The property was better than its online description. The communication with the owner was incredible from start to finish. The importance of an enjoyable stay for the guest is evident in the details and opportunities provided by Marili. Everything you need is there. We only wish that we were staying longer.

Very nice location with view of sea..nice restaurants close by. Apt had good air conditioning!! Hostess was very friendly and helpful! We stayed there the night before our cruise left. Bus , that was close walk, takes you straight to cruise ship for 6 euro per person.

The host was the best we’ve ever experienced. She took care of getting us settled from the airport and then getting us to the ship for our cruise! We cannot say enough good things about Mowita by the Sea and Marili!!! The beach n water were wonderful and there was a great little restaurant, Osterio, right outside the door for fabulous food and service. There was a great beach side bar, lounge called Praya where the barmaid, Milan’s, was sweet and took great care of us for the short time we were there. Finally, the hostess of Mowita is just an exceptional person!

Fantastic Host, Great location!

Warm hospitality + beautiful ocean view

Hosts are kind, friendly, quick to respond to questions, helpful, provide recommendations, and offer extra services and unique experiences. Location is close to the train station, is near several restaurants, and you cannot beat the view in Civitavecchia. We hope to stay again.

Wonderful in Every Way

We had a wonderful time staying at Mowita! It’s a charming flat on the boardwalk with so many fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Our Host Marili takes every need and want into consideration and made us feel totally at home. We can say enough about how wonderful our stay was. We will visit again!

Perfect host

The hospitality of Marili was incredible. The view of the Mediterranean was breathtaking . Marili stocked the kitchen with breakfast food, snacks and drinks. She really went out if her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked a return stay!

Remarkable!!

Marilì and Marco were phenomenal hosts! The flat is perfect for 2 people and is cozy and so cute. The hot springs tour was so much fun and having Marilì and Marco was so helpful with the language barrier. They were both so friendly and made us feel like family! We will be booking with her again!

Great location. Flat has everything you need. The host was absolutely wonderful! She took us on a day trip to several treasures of places and her communication from booking through departure was over the top. We had a medical emergency during our stay and she came to the hospital to help out with language and comfort. Wish I could have given 10 stars instead of 5. Highly recommend this property.

Exceeded expectations!

The best kept secret in Italy, our hostess was the best she showed us all around villages around Rome. White Glove service from the time she picked us up at the airport till we arrived at her beautiful flat, and yes the pictures were 1000 percent accurate. If you are planning a cruise this is the perfect spot!

Lovely flat and host!

Marili is a fabulous host. Everything was perfect. She packed the flat with everything we would need for breakfast and snacks. She sent us maps, highlights, and descriptions of places we could visit. The flat is lovely. The views are outstanding. It was perfect for our short stay. I wish we could have stayed longer!!
