The property was in a beautiful location, my dog loved staying here with the secure garden. Everything was as described and communication with the owner was easy and quick to answer any questions.

We absolutely loved our stay at Little Buckley. Everything was spot on and as described. Our two pups loved their stay too. Cosy lounge to relax in, super comfy beds and the showers were excellent too. The secure garden was perfect for the dogs and also a lovely little sun trap for a glass of vino on the afternoon. Great location and so peaceful. Lots of places to visit, right on your doorstep. We even managed to walk into Sidmouth and catch the no.9 bus back. Dinner at the Red Lion pub was lovely too. This place is just perfect and we'll definitely be recommending it to our family and friends.

Great cottage and location for exploring the area

Our whole family really enjoyed our stay here. It's a cosy but spacious cottage with well-proportioned living areas and bedrooms. We really enjoyed using the sunroom and garden on sunny days. We loved the location - the village is quiet, and it is within 10-15 minutes of many of the local coastal villages and walks.

Family Holiday

Very comfortable house for our family holiday. Good bedroom arrangements for grandparents, parents and 2 children. Sunroom was a great centre for family games, morning coffee or evening drinks. Convenient location within the village and for exploring the coast.

Property ok lots of lovely areas but several issues we were not happy with. Entrance to property overgrown with vegetation, muddy pathway and steps slimy and slippery . Spent the first hour cutting back the overgrown plants and clearing and cleaning the steps and pathway to make them safe and more pleasant for our 6 day stay. Garden a big let down lawn full of weeds and borders all unkempt. Unable to use the outside sofas as not pleasant overgrown with plants and weeds in the paving. Leafs and dirt in the patio area. Not nice to sit in or look at. We did do some clearing up which helped but should not have to do this. Gutter downpipe blocked so guttering over flowing badly when rained heavily. We cleared the gutter down pipe to stop potential damage to the property while it was raining so hard. Rain shower in main bathroom temperature control not working scalding hot unable to reduce the temperature. Toilet seat in main bathroom very loose. Downstairs shower room not pleasant due to discoloured and limescaled shower doors etc.. needs renewing. Washing machine but no dryer as advertised. It was a great shame as the property has so many good points and beautiful furnishings and in a great location. We paid approximately 200 a night and expected more

Das Cottage ist liebevoll hergerichtet und hat unheimlich viel Charme. Es ist sehr großzügig für eine vierköpfige Familie mit Hund und es war alles vorhanden, um sich selbst zu versorgen. Ein fantastisches Ferienhaus.
