Poipu Kapili is a boutique luxury complex in the heart of Poipu, just minutes from many popular beaches for snorkeling, swimming and surfing, as well as shops and dining. This complex includes a large swimming pool, tennis courts, a pickle ball court, BBQ areas and even an herb garden for adding flavor to your gourmet masterpieces.

This home has air-conditioning throughout and numerous ceiling fans in every room. On the entry level of the vacation rental, the open floor concept creates the perfect space to serve as the main gathering, with a large, completely furnished kitchen, dining area and living room, all tastefully decorated to celebrate the many cultures of Hawaii through Asian and Hawaiian influence. A primary suite and guest with en suite bathrooms are located on the second level of the vacation rental, both furnished with king sized beds, walk-in showers and bathtubs. The vacation rental includes a full sized washer and dryer for your convenience.

Koloa dream

We were worried about the reviews about the temperature, but they kindly offered fans. A hiccup the first night- the master was 81 degrees. They were super responsive and helpful and sent someone over quickly and when we got home from dinner the temp was 72!! I learned a few tricks too- close the bathroom and closet doors, keeps lights to a minimum and shades closed. No problem and I am a hot sleeper! The decor is high end and very comfortable. Ocean view amazing. Sheraton beach a 5 minute walk and close to anything you need! I highly recommend and I am particular.

Beautiful property with great views

This unit and property had everything we were looking for - panoramic views of the ocean, close to everything, spacious and quiet, well stocked with beach and kitchen stuff. We loved that the bedrooms were upstairs and there was plenty of privacy. We saw so many whales right from the lanai! And so many beautiful sunsets!

Wonderful Escape

We absolutely loved our stay in this condo! Everything was clean and in working order. When we arrived there were cookies and ground coffee waiting for us. Both bedrooms were large and comfortable and the living area spacious! The pool was wonderful and perfect temperature! The location couldn’t be better - lots of places to walk and lots of great restaurants nearby! Our favorite activity was feeding Tommy every morning - just love him!! Highly recommend this property and would love the opportunity to return!

Great Property with Great View. A Few Updates Needed.

The property was as good as advertised with the view of the ocean being the most spectacular feature. There were three items that detracted from our stay. The AC needs updating. The bedrooms upstairs were too warm during the day and the first half of the night. The TV in the primary bedroom is very frustrating to use. The channel guide doesn't work correctly, so we had to go channel by channel to find something. It takes about 5 seconds to move from one channel to the next. The downstairs bathroom doesn't have a door to separate it from the laundry, and the door to the laundry doesn't lock. Other than these three things, the property was great. The view is worth the price alone and made dealing with the other issues worthwhile.

Very nice but a few things

Overall a nice stay. A few critiques. In my opinion the place is too filled/stocked. We enjoyed feeding Tommy the cat each day but the cat food takes up a large area in the cabinets. Therefore, there is no where to store your groceries but the countertop. The drawers and other cabinets have all the supplies you need but so many things that stuff is difficult to find. It would feel more tidy if there was a bit less. The pillow tops on the mattresses make the beds overly soft. Both my husband and I l, and even my children, found it difficult to sleep until I removed them from both beds. Lastly, I found myself irritated that they ask you not to turn the AC below 73. If you offer AC and pay the premium you should not be told the temperature in which to set it. My brother was at a lesser unit down the road with AC and no restrictions. We additionally had just stayed at a unit in Princeville and could do the same. 73 in July/August in Hawaii can still feel a bit warm especially at night. Even more, in a 2 story property. It’s all personal preference but if I pay for it, I want to control the temperature myself.

Amazing ocean front property. The condo is beautifully appointed showing the owners love of the Islands. Perfect lanais for enjoying the sounds of the ocean and nightly sunsets. Walking distance to the best beaches. Can’t wait for a return visit.

Time Went Too Quickly

This management company is one of the most responsive of any we have ever used. Their concierge service responds immediately with specific information. This unit is VERY well supplied with ample supplies. We only had to provide our own food. The view from the patio is stunning. The Sheraton with beach is a very short walk. And a restaurant, Holo Holo is also walking distance. We were sad to leave this lovely condo in its perfect location.

Our family had a great time staying at this Poipu location. The condo was right on the beach so we could walk out and watch the ocean waves. It was beautifully decorated, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. Management was also very attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend and will be returning here in the future.

Great stay!

We had stayed in another unit at Poipu Kapili a couple of years ago and it was great. We liked this one even better. Really no complaints. It was a little pricey considering there were just two of us and we did not use the second bedroom/bath but we needed this getaway so much, it was worth it. Loved Tommy Kapili, the neighborhood cat - he pegged us as catlovers from day one and came to visit often., We will definitely consider this unit again whenever we are so lucky as to return to the beautiful island of Kauai.

Amazing beach side location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very tranquil, peaceful and private corner unit. This condo could easily accommodate 2 or 3 couples or a large family. Kitchen was fully equipped. Jaccuzi bath tub was a great treat at the end of the day..

best location in Poipu, great hosts

We think this is the best locations in all of Poipu. Right next door to the beach at the Sheraton, gorgeous ocean and sunset views, away from the "big" roads, easy 10-15 minute walking distance to the best shops and restaurants. Some of the best snorkeling in Poipu is a 5 minute drive. The condo is great — well-equipped with everything you need for a family or group, quiet corner location on the far end of the complex, wonderful trade wind breezes that make all the difference (we didn't use the AC at all). We watched sea turtles and manta rays from the lanai and the front bedroom. We took the 1 minute walk across the small road in the mornings to stand on the rocks at the water's edge and get a closer look at the turtles (just feet away) while we drank our coffee. The property managers are great. Jessica in particular was wonderfully helpful. She helped us rearrange our booking dates when plans were disrupted by the pandemic. She provided great advice before we arrived (booking restaurants and rental cars well ahead of our trip, for example.) The checkin/checkout process was hassle-free (no waiting, could pick up/drop off keys onsite). Would definitely stay here again (and again...)

Great view and location

We had a wonderful time. We had everything we needed. We love to cook and the kitchen was incredible. We were so close to shops and the athletic club. It was a very hot week so the upstairs room a/c was required. The downstairs was very warm even with fans so we took advantage of the pool! Highly recommend this location/complex! The property managers and owners are extremely hospitable and welcoming

Awesome condo w. amazing ocean views, ample space for a family of four and grounds well kept!

Perfect location in Poipu! The grounds were beautiful, peaceful and quiet. We could not get enough of the pool. Close walk to beach and surf spots. Short drive to tons of restaurants and shopping. We’ll be back. Aloha!
