This magnificent end unit Penthouse was completely remodeled with everything new just a couple years ago! The Pacific Ocean stretches out as far as you can see in front of you. You often see turtles, spinner dolphins and even whales when they are in season! Enjoy the large Oceanfront Deck, BBQ, and the Oceanfront Pool.

With sweeping views of the Pacific ocean and cool breezes flowing through every room in this first class and beautifully decorated penthouse you will never want to leave! Located on the southernmost point of Kauai, along with its unique orientation and height, it is perfectly situated to take maximum advantage of the trade winds. The resulting breeze keeps the penthouse cool without having to close the windows and use air conditioning. You'll love the open and breezy feel in a way you cannot experience in other Poipu condos.

Just outside on your private lanai you can start your day with coffee on and enjoy the sunrise over the Pacific Ocean stretching out in front of you. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything new; full sized range, refrigerator with ice maker and filtered water dispenser, microwave, full size toaster oven, ultra quiet dishwasher. There are beautiful granite countertops and white cheery cabinets. Even the kitchen offers an oceanfront view! There are two master suites one with a bathtub/shower and the other with a walk in shower. The family room has a 65" flatscreen television with free Internet and cable TV. You can casually dine outside on the lanai, enjoy a quick breakfast at the kitchen counter or more formal dining in the dining room with it's beautiful solid teak table.

The Poipu Palms property also has a large oceanfront deck and pool along with a lava rock shower, lounging cabana and charcoal grill. Charcoal and lighting fluid are provided. The Grand Hyatt (with incredible restaurants) and Shipwrecks Beach are an easy 1/2 mile walk away along a stunning oceanfront trail (shown in the pictures). Brenneckes Beach, Poipu Beach, shops, deli and restaurant are also an easy 1/2 mile walk.

For your safety we provide Keyless and Contactless check-in and out and use Enhanced Cleaning protocols using disinfectants according to WHO & CDC guidelines. We always provide antibacterial hand soap at every sink.

We loved our stay. We enjoyed being about equal walking distance between Poipu and Shipwreck beaches. We really enjoyed whale watching from our balcony via binoculars. I think we saw whale activity almost every day including a couple of breaches. We hope to return next year!

Amazing condo right on the coast of Poipu. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed utilizing the gas grills in the evenings. The public trail nearby was fabulous for sunset and morning walks along the coast, and Poipu was a convenient short walk as well. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony and whale watching every morning! This location had all the convenient kitchen, bathroom, and miscellaneous (Binoculars, sunscreen, etc.) that we could've asked for. Can't wait to stay here again in the future!

Location is ideal and the condo is postcard perfect. Once you step through the front door, you know you’re on vacation. The space is bright, spotless, and the set up was perfect for 3 adults. There are books, games and puzzles available plus lots of equipment for a day at the beach. The lanai is the ahhhmazing. Morning coffee with ocean breezes, evenings with watercolor sunsets. Cannot not say enough about how wonderful our stay was.

This penthouse was lovely!! Very well stocked, very clean, and the best view!! We could easily walk to the Grand Hyatt along a pathway right on the ocean. We also walked to Poipu Beach which we loved!! Excellent snorkeling, beautiful beach and sea turtles every day! It was the perfect location to many sites and excursions! Book this VRBO and you won’t regret it!!

The fact that we secured our return trip before we were half way through this one (Feb/Mar travel) should give you a clue about how special this space is! And that “special” starts with the hosts/owners. Doug and Candy were very responsive throughout the whole process - from reserving to arriving and beyond. Their care for the unit is evident in the very tastefully appointed and decorated space you will live in - while also being fully functional for cooking and general living. And with a 24/7 window to the ocean complemented by a very comfortable lanai for morning coffee, evening happy hour, or just a daytime nap - how can you go wrong? Whales, dolphins, and turtles are your neighbors! The unit is part of a “boutique” group of condos that reduces the stress of living in “crowds” while providing a nice plunge pool, sunning deck, shared grill (gas) space, and a general deck for evening sunsets. You are within a 15 minute walk of beaches, restaurants (formal and informal), and a farmer’s market and an easy drive to a host of other visits (from Koloa and Lawai to Waimea and Port Allen to Hanalei and Nepali - it’s Kauai - you can access any part of the island easily from here). We were not given enough characters to review this fully, but the bottom line is - take advantage of this space! It is a great place to truly understand the meaning of “aloha”. This is a great location and the deck and pool by the water were nice to have. We did a spectacular half day hike along the water right from Poipu Palms! The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. The place needed a good Spring cleaning, other than that it was wonderful and we would stay there again. One does need to be able to navigate a short hill and stairs. Not an issue for us. Overall, a nice choice for a stay in Koloa.

My family just enjoyed six wonderful nights at this condo. Location is amazing. We were able to walk to many local beaches. Condo had an impressive view of the ocean where we were able to see sea turtles, whales and dolphins daily. Hosts were very quick to respond and the check in process was seamless. Highly recommend this condo!!

My wife and I were originally from the mainland and are now lucky enough to live in Kauai full time. Even before moving here, we've always loved Kauai and have been frequent visitors since the early '80's. Like most people who choose to vacation here, we came to experience the incredible natural beauty and loved our time outside but hated returning to our hotel room that felt like every other city's hotel room. Our dream was to experience Kauai even while in our room without having to pay $$$$ for an oceanfront hotel suite! We became very creative in finding places to stay that made us feel like we were still in Kauai.

We selected and remodeled our properties to give you this "better than hotel" experience. You will love having the natural beauty of Kauai around you even while enjoying your time in this penthouse!
