Choosing a property with “Patty’s Casitas” (we have a 1 bedroom + 1 office with Twin bed in the same building #2464014 - booked until June 2026, a Studio in Casco Viejo #223384 as well as a 2 bedroom Loft in the same building #338304) means a well taken care home, responsive and dedicated hosts (who are also the owners) and the possibility of a full rounded experience with our airport transfers & tours offerings.

This unique condominium is located on a little hill where you will be able to enjoy an astonishing view of Casco Viejo, the city with its skyscrapers and the Cerro Ancon!

Great care has been taken in its furnishing to assure you comfort and make you feel just right at home. Enjoy the great orthopedic memory foam bed and the oversize bathroom with its double vanity and its wide shower with rain water shower head!

The apartment has been fitted with beautiful crown moldings and has 10 feet’s high ceilings with floor to ceiling windows in the living-room with a great cross ventilation for the ones that like natural air.

Relax with a glass of wine on one of the buildings 2 roof top terraces from where you'll be able to enjoy the magnificent views of the Panama Canal and the Bridge of the Americas.

The condominium is surrounded by lush vegetation like palm, mango and mahogany trees and has a variety of birds...On lucky days you might even see a Toucan greeting you at your bedroom window..there is a family of 7 living on the grounds;-)

LOCATION:

It is at the beginning of the Causeway & 2 minutes away from the Bridge of the Americas, a 5 minutes taxi ride to the Albrook airport (for a quick getaway!) & to the Albrook mall - Central America’s biggest shopping mall.

It is a 5 Min's walk to one of Amador’s many marinas with the Yacht club for a relaxed lunch or evening drinks & the TGI Fridays at the Country Inn and Suites.

NEIGHBORHOOD:

High end and very safe neighborhood...conveniently located at 5 Min's taxi ride from Casco Viejo (colonial neighborhood - UNESCO World Heritage Site) and 10 - 15 Min's from down-town...you'll also be at 5 Min's walk from the ferry departing for the islands.

Amador has a beautiful and picturesque Causeway, lined with tropical palm trees, and with magnificent views of the Canal and the Panama City skyline, also home of the Marine Exhibition Center of the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and soon hosting Frank Ghery’s Museum of Life.

The end of the Causeway, with its 3 little islands, offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars & cafés.

You’ll also be able to jog, cycle (2 bicycles come with the rental!) or just enjoy the views!

Perfect apartment for exploring the Amador area. It was well stocked and nice extra touches like a starter kit of supplies and umbrellas. The rooftop terrace was great for watching the ships going to and from the canal. Patty is an amazing host and lovely person. Very friendly and helpful as was her husband Rudy. I recommend the Gatun Lake boat tour with him. Very enjoyable and lots of wildlife spotted.

The unit was nicely furnished. Good fans and A/C. Nicely appointed kitchen. Comfortable bed and couch. Stunning views of Panama City skyline. A couple of iguanas living in the rainforest canopy below you! Excellent location, close to the reverted former Canal Zone townsites. Safe apartment complex with security and parking. It’s a nice Home Away from Home. The hosts were super welcoming and left us some thoughtful snacks and drinks. I would stay again, only longer.

Everything about Patty's condo is amazing! She gives you hotel service with the comfort of being at home. She is incredibly responsive from the moment you book all the way through your trip.Patty met me at check-in to give me a tour of the building and answer any questions. Similar to front desk service at a hotel, she provided maps of the area with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. The condo is incredibly clean and organized. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need for your stay. The bathroom had the normal toiletries such as bodywash, shampoo, etc. but also included things like toothpaste and makeup remover in case you forgot something. It's clear that Patty puts a lot of thought and care into her place. As a woman travelling alone, I felt very safe staying there. The building is gated and has 24 hour security on site. The Amador area is away from the crowds but close enough to old town to get there via a quick Uber ride. There were also a few great restaurants in walking distance.

Laid back gem in Panama City

Comfortable little apartment in safe, quiet area. Great view of city can. You can walk along the sea and see decayed barracks formerly occupied by US troops years ago. Restaurants and two excellent museums within walking distance. Not the place if you're looking for action and night life but perfect for a relaxing stay.

Wonderful place to stay!

We really liked the condo. It was just a one bedroom and a really large bathroom. The kitchen was cozy, didn't need anything. We enjoyed the iguana on a coconut tree right outside our window.

Panamanian Hospitality

My wife and I really enjoyed our week long visit to Central America. Though I was bit hampered with sciatica, we made the most of it. Patti & Rudy were fantastic hosts and the place we stayed at was one of the best we have vaca'd at. Anyone coming to Panama must check this place out! We saw quite a bit during stay and look forward to a return trip sometime in the future! Great Job Guys!

Owner picked us up at airport and after check in dropped us at nearby restaurant. Patti and Rudy practice first class hospitality. Ironman Race Weekend

I was in Panama City for Ironman Panama. I wanted a place that would be convenient to the race, so that was the main reason I chose Patty’s apartment. The location was perfect and made it really easy for me. The unit was absolutely lovely, and exactly as it was advertised on VRBO. I also could not be happier with the communication with Patty and Rudy. They were so helpful, including picking me up at the airport. Patty is also very responsive. I can’t say enough good things about my stay in my experience. I will definitely be back

Wonderful Stay in Patty’s Beautiful Condo

We had the pleasure of renting Patty’s beautiful condo in the idyllic Amador area for a brief stay in Panama City in June. Not only did the condo live up to our expectations for cleanliness, convenience and comfort, but Patty and Rudy were the most gracious hosts who also provided a convenient transport option to the airport and from our earlier stay in Coronado. Rudy is also an expert on Panama and briefed us on many of the historical sites along out routes. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and more—there are even bikes provided if you would like to ride around the beautiful Amador area. We could not have made a better choice in places to stay in Panama City and would definitely love to stay here on a future visit.

A perfect apartment!

We've stayed in many places during our travels, but this apartment was exceptional and it had everything we'd hoped for and more. Patty and Rudy were excellent hosts, very accommodating and friendly, and helped make our winter getaway to Panama one we will always remember. The view from the apartment is quite beautiful during the day as well as at night. From the upstairs terrace, you have an amazing view of the huge ships working their way in and out of the Panama Canal. Watching sunsets and sunrises from there was mesmerizing. With the bikes our hosts provided, we were able to ride along the Amador Causeway every day and see the ships from a different perspective. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Thanks, Patty and Rudy!

Best Location in Panama and Best Hosts!

We stayed for 10 days. The apartment was extremely clean and well stocked with spices and cooking supplies (we cooked all our meals and we had all the utensils and cookware we needed) as well as ample paper and food storage products. The snacks, juice, coffee/ tea and milk were a nice touch. Shampoo and body wash as well as laundry detergent were provided. The building’s location in Amador is amazing as it provides for outstanding views in all of the desirable directions. The rooftop was our favorite spot and we spent many hours watching the ships, soccer games, birdwatching (saw many parrots) and other various local activities. We thoroughly enjoyed walking and running on the causeway and appreciated the bikes. We always felt safe and welcomed. The iguanas sat in the trees outside our windows everyday. Patty and Rudy were always a text away and answered all of our questions immediately. Thank you to Rudy for the Gatun Lake and Monkey Island tour and transport to/from the airport! They were the best VRBO hosts we’ve had yet! If we ever visit Panama again, we will definitely book this location or one of Patty's other casitas.

Great apartment and hosts

We have stayed at vacation rentals all over the world and this is one of the best. Very clean and modern, Patti and Rudi were great hosts. Beautiful view of the city and we loved the rooftop deck. Rudy is a terrific guide who took us on three great daytrips.(and arranged our canal transit) Best way to visit Panama City.

My husband and I visited Panama in August for a little shy of 2 weeks. We had the good fortune to select Patty and Rudy's one bedroom condo in Amador. It was clear from the very beginning that we had chosen wisely. Rudy was promptly at the airport to pick us up the night we arrived. He helped us to find a place to eat even though it was late, and their gracious hospitality was extended even further. Patty had sent along some home made treats that we were grateful for the next morning. The condo was professionally/tastefully decorated and spotless. Patty made herself available throughout our stay to promptly answer every question that we had, and they were many. They even provided a cell phone that we could use locally. These two think of everything that a guest would need and want and made it so. Transportation arrangements back to the airport made by Patty were also seamless. I would certainly stay with them again, and recommend the same to family and friends.

Exceptional apartment - great hosts - exceeded expectations

The condo is very spacious, full of natural light and is tastefully decorated which makes it feel like a "home away from home." Not to mention it's a hop and skip to hotspots like Casco Viejo and the Albrook Mall. We enjoyed our time at the condo more than the the 5-star hotel we stayed at the first two nights. We wished we could have stayed longer! Rudy and Patty were very accommodating and give you all the details you need up front. If you have additional questions along the way, they reply swiftly to your inquiries/requests, which is refreshing as this is NOT typical in Panama. We certainly plan on staying there in the future. - Thanks again Patty & Rudy

A little piece of heaven.

This condo was one of four condos we rented while traveling around Panama and this one was the best and we had some good ones. The decorating was very creative and stylish (I am trying to simulate the artwork in the hall). I have never seen a condo so clean, kudos to the staff. I really liked the area because you were a short ride from anywhere or a even a beautiful walk. Great view from the terrace, great security, and Patty and Rudy were always willing to help with suggestions and directions which was priceless.

Beautifully done!

This is one of the nicer places my husband and I have stayed - very clean and attractively decorated. Sunshine floods in the large window overlooking Panama City skyscrapers. Everything works as it should. Very comfortable bed. Favourite things: bicycling along the causeway, watching the ships entering the canal. Negatives (every place has a bit of a downside): no close grocery store (although there were a couple of small ones a walk away). This apartment is on the 4th floor and there is a roof top deck on the 8th floor where one can watch the ships or enjoy the sunset.

Loved, Loved, Loved It!

We rented this condo for 8 days and enjoyed every day of it. Rudy and Patty were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcomed. The condo was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed plus more. We especially appreciated the mobile phone and small card we could show a taxi driver to get us back home. The location is convenient to many cultural activities, restaurants and shopping. The property description tells it all. Would we stay there again? Absolutely!

Great location,great view and great hosts

We stayed 5 nights and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. The condo was great for two people and we loved the view. Why they chose this property

We chose to purchase this property due to its great location and amazing views. Another reason is that Rudy used to come here as a child when it used to be part of the Canal zone in the days when the Americans were operating the Canal. This particular area was where American generals once inhabited their majestic homes…some have been renovated & some were replaced with low rise condominiums – no more than 7 floors…making this area very exclusive with only a handful of them.
