Choosing a property with “Patty’s Casitas”(we also have a have a a 2 bedroom Loft in the same building #338304 and in Amador by the Causeway a 1 bedroom + 1 office with Twin bed #2464014 + a 1 bedroom in the same building #116555) means a well taken care home, responsive and dedicated hosts (who are also the owners) and the possibility of a full rounded experience with offering of airport transfers & tours!

Come and enjoy Panama by staying in this little gem - best location around the corner from “El Rey” supermarket…Casco’s only grocery store!

Want to stay in beautiful Casco Antiguo (also known as Casco Viejo) in the Unesco World Heritage neighborhood (the 'gem' of Panama City) at a reasonable price without giving up on quality and comfort?

The studio has all the comfort and more as it has been fitted with crown molding, bamboo floors, king size bed and custom made furniture. The setting is elegant yet homey and the kitchen is set aside from the main living area and is fully equipped…no kitchenette here;-)

If you like tranquility this is the perfect 'pied à terre' as the studio overlooks the internal patio but with views on other buildings which are not restored yet so you get a glimpse of the authentic life of the real Casco's inhabitants.

LOCATION:

It is near the famous “La Merced” Church which façade was transported stone by stone after the 1st city (Panama La Vieja) was destroyed…the building was actually the living quarters of the monks;-)

The condo is steps away from restaurants, bars & cafés, the famous Plaza Cathedral with the Museum of the canal & Plaza Herrera with its famous roof-top bar.

NEIGHBORHOOD:

Casco Viejo (also known as Casco Antiguo) is an effervescent neighborhood with its beautiful restored colonial buildings, home to the President Palace, the French Embassy & a gorgeous promenade with awesome views to the city's skyline & the Amador Causeway (entrance of the Panama Canal).

It also offers fine dining & entertainment with the National Theatre, great outdoor cafés for a nice drink on one of the charming plazas...an enjoyment by itself!

It's perfect location between down-town & Amador, a 5 to 10 Min's taxi ride, makes it a conveniently central “pied-a-terre”!

Every feature of our stay at Patty's Casita in Casco Viejo in Panama City was extraordinary...from the very first contacts we had with the host in booking, to the final checkout at the end of the week and every detail in between. The location of the studio condo in the old town is without doubt the best feature of the property. Not only is it close to all the old historical aspects of the city, but it is also full of charm and yet very clean and modern. Patty was very welcoming, and made us feel right at home with everything we could possibly want in a home away from home. Highly recommend, and hope to return again soon.

A great stay in the heart of Old Panama

My fiance and I had a wonderful time here on vacation. It was centrally located, easy to check-in and had top notch amenities. The apartment was well decorated and having access to laundry was really nice. The hosts were excellent and were extremely accommodating. Amazing Stay

The flat was just amazing and a welcome retreat after a few days of travel on the Caribbean side. The location was perfect, quaint & clean. The fact that there was no elevator wasn’t a bad thing. A great start in Panama City

Patty and Rudy were among some of the best hosts we have ever had in all our bookings with VRBO. A Very Nice, Quiet Studio Apartment with all the amenities needed. Located in the heart of Casco Antiguo a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, transportation, and great views of the city. Patty and Rudy are extremely easy to work with and truly care that your stay is wonderful. Rudy is a licensed tour operator, who is very knowledgeable and helpful. Providing airport/cruise pick up and drop off along with a variety of private tour options. Definitely will stay at Patty's Casitas again and use Rudy's Tours also.

Just Wonderful

We have nothing but praise for the job Patty and Rudy have done. From the time we checked in until the time we left our hosts were spot on. They met us upon arrival and departure. The condo was spotless, well stocked and very comfortable. The bed was super comfy. The immediate neighborhood has great restaurants. Mahalo was our personal favorite but there are many other options within walking distance. We highly recommend this rental for your visit to Casco Viejo. Great job Patty and Rudy. When we return you will definitely be our #1 choice.

Great stay in Casco Viejo

We had an excellent stay at this property, and we would certainly stay again. Patty was extremely responsive and wonderful to work with. The apartment is nicely appointed and works very well for two adults. It is on the third floor of a quiet building with an inner courtyard, with laundry facilities. The building itself is just across the street from the Mayor's office, and within a minute's walk to a Rey's, a grocery store. We really liked the location, with many restaurant options available as well as good walkability to parks and markets. We also took a great all day tour with Rudy, who was an excellent tour guide. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Why they chose this property

We chose to purchase this property because it is such a vibrant neighborhood and has some of the best restaurants in town...not to mention that it is fascinating to wonder about in its little colonial streets admiring the buildings' amazing architectures.
Its central location between the banking district (2 min’s drive) and the Amador Causeway (5 min’s drive) makes it a perfect vacation spot.

It offers lots of entertainments like the national Theater and all the different venues: the Jazz and Music festival. You’ll find a variety of little shops with beautiful Panamanian handcrafts and every Sunday the flea market.
Casco Viejo is a great walking neighborhood home to the Presidential Palace, the Mayor’s Office (in our street) and the French Embassy.
