Charming villa in a perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Vigna. The property is beautifully set with open views and offers a real sense of peace and privacy. The fenced garden was a big plus, making it feel very safe and comfortable. The villa itself is cosy and tastefully decorated, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. We especially loved the location – being within walking distance of Lorgues was ideal for enjoying local restaurants and the village atmosphere. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a lovely setting – we would definitely recommend it.

Lovely house in Lorgues

The house was spacious, and practical. A large wonderful and weel equipped terrasse and pool area. Also a wonderful view from the terasse and sleeping rooms. Peaceful surroundings. There is room for 3 cars and a possibility to use an EV charger. Fantastic and recommendable house in a lovely french town. The house is for 8 people but tableware was too few. Also kitchen knives needed sharpening. Unfortunately the floor at 1. floor needed cleaning when we arrived. And some of the tableware was dirty too.

Beautiful villa in the picturesque town of Lorgues

Beautiful villa in the picturesque town of Lorgues. We had a fabulous 2 week holiday at Villa Vigna. So many things to see in and around Lorgues. Highlights were canoeing along the Argen river, dinner in Cannes, wandering around Tourtour and Cotignac, climbing the steps to the chapel in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (be prepared, the stone steps are VERY slippery!), and hiring a pedalo at Gorge du Verdon (breathtaking views). After busy days of sight-seeing, we always looked forward to returning to the villa to enjoy sunsets on the veranda with stunning views of countryside and vineyards. The kids loved the pool which is a great for young children as not too deep. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking your own meals if you choose to. It was a shame that there was a regional ban on open fires which meant no bbq, but of course, completely understandable due to the devastating wildfires in the area.Be sure to bring additional towels for the pool and beach as these are not provided.

Dear Geraldine, Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review. It’s lovely to read how much you enjoyed your two-week stay at Villa Vigna – from canoeing on the Argens to exploring the charming villages and dramatic landscapes of Provence. We're delighted to hear that the villa was a welcoming retreat after your adventures, and that the children enjoyed the pool. The sunsets from the veranda are indeed magical, and we're happy you got to experience them fully. Thank you also for the helpful tip about bringing extra towels – we will certainly make this clearer in our guest information. And yes, the fire ban is always a pity for BBQ lovers, but we truly appreciate your understanding. We would love to welcome you again in the future!
