Accommodations include a bedroom with a queen bed and a second bedroom with a queen bed and twin bunk beds. Amenities include a charcoal grill, a 52" TV with internet service, free wifi, and a well-appointed kitchen with full-size range, refrigerator-freezer with ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, and toaster oven. The bathroom has a shower stall, toilet, and single sink. There is a washer and dryer. Linens are furnished for kitchen, bed and bath. Added bonuses are the semi-private boat launch on an adjacent cove, a large fire pit with wood, a tree swing, a screened dock house with eating and conversation areas, and a fish-cleaning station on a fishing dock. Crappie House is perfect for serious fishermen, families, and couples looking for a quiet, fairly secluded get-away. Nearby there is a small market and grill that sells fishing supplies, licenses and gasoline. (Louisiana and Texas licenses are accepted on all of Toledo Bend). The town of Hemphill, Texas is a 20-minute car ride away, and has a grocery store, restaurants, ATMs and various shops. Likewise, there are the same offerings across the Pendleton Bridge in Louisiana, about 25 minutes away.
Due to HOA rules, boats must be trailered when not in use and no fireworks are permitted.
