"Casa Marina" is located in a historic building (1864) in the historic centre of Milazzo, overlooking the scenic "Marina Garibaldi" waterfront. All major amenities are within a few metres: restaurants, pizzerias, sandwich shops, cafes, tobacco shops, pharmacies, supermarkets, and bakeries. The port and the terminal for ships and hydrofoils to and from the Aeolian Islands, as well as the bus station for routes to and from Messina and Catania Airport, are about 600 metres away. (10-minute walk) The Arab-Norman castle and the historic old town, bustling with bars and pubs and offering a lively nightlife, are located about 300 metres away. The beaches and beach resorts are extensive, both on the western and eastern sides, and are easily accessible even on foot.
The unit was completely renovated in 2017; it features three rooms: an entryway with a bathroom, a kitchen-living room, and a bedroom, described below.
The double bedroom has two windows overlooking both the waterfront and the historic path leading up to the Sanctuary of St. Francis of Paola (1454); it is furnished with a closet, desk, chest of drawers, armchairs, and other accessories. In addition to the double bed, the house has two single beds that can be added as needed, either in the bedroom or in the kitchen-living room.
The kitchen features a 4-burner stove, a refrigerator with freezer, an electric oven, a coffee maker, and kitchen accessories; it is equipped with cabinets, wall units, and dressers, and includes cutlery, plates, pots, and all necessary kitchenware.
The bathroom features a sink, toilet, bidet, and a spacious 70x120 shower stall.
The entrance is located on the mezzanine level of the building, with access from Salita San Francesco di Paola at No. 1, which was renovated in 2024. The apartment has a floor area of approximately 45 square metres and features: air conditioning, digital TV, an Internet connection, and free Wi-Fi. It is ideal for a couple or a family of up to 4 people. The residence has private parking, and two or more bicycles are available free of charge to reach the high streets in the city centre. The house is just a few metres from the Marina Yacht, where you can rent boats and inflatable boats to explore the stunning scenery of the Capo Milazzo Marine Protected Area.
