Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. The property was overbooked, and when I contacted the host to let him know I was on my way, he told me he could not find my reservation. After I sent him my confirmation number, he tried to resolve the issue by offering me another apartment. However, the replacement was smaller than the apartment I had originally booked and was not properly cleaned before our arrival. The floors and bathrooms were especially dirty, and no one came to clean the apartment during our stay, so we had to stay in the unit in that condition. On top of that, there was no gas available when we arrived, and we had to wait for the host to send a replacement before we could use it. I appreciate that the host tried to provide an alternative after the reservation issue, but I expected to receive the accommodation I reserved or, at the very least, a comparable, clean, and fully functional replacement. Overall, the experience was frustrating and did not match what I booked or expected.
