About this property

Charming cottage few mins walk from the waterfront and beach

Bantry with its beautiful Bay is a market town, with a beach, traditional Irish pubs, great restaurants plus fabulous artisan coffee shops all just a couple of minutes stroll from our cozy fully central heated cottage. A suntrap deck & piano also feature for guests to enjoy too.

We are fortunate to be within walking distance of the fabulous stately home and gardens Bantry House and being situated on the Wild Atlantic Way there are stunning nature reserves, including those at Glengariff and Gougane Barra for those who enjoy both a lesiurely walk as well as the more adventurous if a hiking holiday is your preference on nearby Sheeps Head, Mizen Head and Beara peninsulas.

The home is central heated and double glazed throughout, and set up with everything you need for a fully self-catering holiday. We use it for our family get togethers so you can be reassured of a well cared for home if you choose to stay at out cottage for your holiday.

Two double bedrooms plus an ensuite (loo and sink) with a downstairs bathroom and 2nd WC.

We have a sun deck to the rear of the property which overlooks the garden, nice and peaceful to enjoy the birdsong.

Our Grandfather built our house about 100 years ago so its great we can now share it for others to enjoy. We love being hosts and have had great guests stay from families to couples wanting to walk or enjoy the nearby beaches.

What makes this property unique

The cottage is just a few minutes walk from the waterfront and town (slightly uphill on the way back) and is near to lots of great restaurants and pubs. Its a great location for the music and literary festivals that come to West Cork each year also.
