Loved this cottage, very cosy, comfortable & well equipped. It had everything we needed, the fire was lit before we arrived. The hosts were very friendly & accommodating. We’d love to re visit x
Everything was lovely, had a great time in this cozy house. Jack came by twice, very nice man :). Just a great place to be. Thank you Jack and Kathleen. Cheers from Daniel
This cottage is a wonderful place to stay and an excellent base for exploring West Cork. Although there were only two of us, it would easily and comfortably accommodate up to six people. Kathleen is a warm and welcoming host, and the cottage felt cosy from the moment we arrived. Visiting in December, we were greeted by a warm living room, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree creating a festive atmosphere, and a lit fireplace that made the space especially inviting. Very “hygge,” as we say in Denmark. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone.
We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage in Bantry. We were welcomed by a cozy fire and the place was clean and charming. We loved the kitchen and enjoyed cooking and dining together there. It had everything needed. Walks around and the views out of each window were beautiful. The bathtub was welcome during a gusty storm. I would stay again. Great for family. Thanks Katherine and Jack!Warmly, Mary Winslow and family

All four of them friendly and helpful in every way started off on a good note i had lit a little fire as the evening was pretty cold, the first thing Mary did was to ring to say thanks. They are a lovely family and would love to host again.

Loved that it was located in country and how peaceful and relaxing it was. Definitely need a car. Had beautiful sunrises and listening to birds as drinking morning coffee. We even had the local cows and cats come visit us! The hosts responded quickly when needed. Overall this was a great place for my spouse and I to celebrate our 25th anniversary while enjoying Ireland with our friends!
The dog loved it ,had chats with other dogs neighbouring in houses around , met a few friendly cows in the neighbouring field fascinatedwith them , space for him to run around the drive.Adults had a quite relaxing stay , alot of places to go ... recommend " The Priest Leap, bring a parachute, not for the faint hearted , but some views back onto Bantry and the many peninsulas, Also Caha Pass to Kenmare views.People of west Cork / East Kerry very welcoming.Host exceptional

Thank you foer your review Eileen,I'm happy to tell you that the sofa and chairs in the lounge are now replaced with new ones.
This cozy old farm cottage was just what we were looking for. Lots of character with the 18” thick walls & fun window seats. The location was perfect with beautiful views & very quiet. Easily accessible to Bantry, Glengariff. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings. . There is plenty of room for a larger family. The barbecue grill was unusable & we needed to supply our own soap & shampoo, this is not a complaint just a heads up
This was the perfect place for us to use as a central location to rest after drives all over the lower part of Ireland. Kathleen was charming and lovely and we enjoyed our visit with her. We would rent from her again when we visit Ireland again.
Great time spent in this idyllic cottage with country views and comfort! Well equipped kitchen with everything one. Would hope for and more! Thank you Kathleen and jack
