The "Pedrocchi" Suite overlooks Piazza del Portello and offers unique views of the historic Porta Ognissanti, built in 1518. Known to the people of Padua as Porta Portello—named after the city’s historic area—you can admire its splendid staircase leading down to the old port, the landing point for the Burchiello and other motorboats that will take you all the way to Venice along the banks of the Brenta River. The suite can accommodate up to 6 people and is ideal for families, groups of friends, or close-knit groups. It retains historic details dating back to the 1400s. The Space The suite is located on the ground floor of a historic house overlooking Piazza del Portello. A convenient flight of stairs leads to the suite. At the top of the stairs, you’ll find a space equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, and an electric Moka pot for espresso. There is NO kitchen. You’ll have access to an extendable period table that seats up to 6 people. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed with a memory foam mattress and 1,000 independent micro-springs in 9 zones. At the foot of the bed is a sofa bed with a 140 cm-wide mattress. The loft bedroom is accessed via a 60 cm-wide ladder. The loft area is screened off by a handcrafted structure made of wooden slats that can be rotated to provide privacy from other guests. The double bed is equipped with a memory foam mattress and independent micro-springs. The loft area gains even more charm thanks to the large skylight, from which you can admire the sky over Padua.
