The location of the house and the town itself is wonderful. We loved Caminha. The privacy of the house is excellent and it feels very safe. The pool is really nice and the view is incredible. However, given the size of the house and the number of guests it can accommodate, there are several shortcomings. The kitchen is very small and not particularly well equipped. The oven is very old, the BBQ is primitive and small. It made cooking meals difficult and feels very cramped when in a large group. The lack of fans is also an issue - we were very hot in the bedrooms, but only one fan was provided. No pool towels are provided, so you need to use the ones from the bathrooms which also isn't ideal.
