Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re so pleased you enjoyed the boathouse and its spectacular location—it really is a special spot. How amazing that you saw a seal on your last morning, and we’re glad you made the most of the canoe too. It’s great to hear the welcome Prosecco was appreciated, and that you enjoyed the peaceful birdsong. We’re always happy to be on hand if needed, and we’d love to welcome you back for another stay soon!

A must stay

What an incredible place — absolutely stunning. We spent an early Christmas here surrounded by peace, quiet and quality time together. If you’re looking to truly unwind and switch off, this is perfect. We especially loved the bedroom and the little ladder leading up to it, we’re very adventurous so this was very cool! Here’s a light-hearted, jokey version you can add on If we had to be really picky… a couple of blinds on the lower windows would be amazing. We did have a tiny fear that someone might be standing outside in the dark watching us very horror-movie vibes But honestly, it didn’t take away from how incredible the place was at all!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review — we’re absolutely delighted to hear how much you enjoyed your early Christmas getaway. It’s lovely to know the peace, quiet and chance to truly switch off made it such a special stay, and we’re especially pleased the unique bedroom and ladder added a sense of adventure to your experience — it’s one of our favourite features too ✨ We’re so glad the property gave you the space to relax, unwind and enjoy quality time together. Your point about the lower-level windows is completely understood, and we can absolutely see how blinds would add an extra sense of privacy and comfort in the evenings (we smiled at the “horror-movie vibes” comment, but take the feedback seriously!). We’ll be passing this on to the owners for consideration. We’re really pleased to hear that it didn’t detract from what was otherwise an incredible stay, and we’re very grateful for both your kind words and your thoughtful suggestion. We’d love to welcome you back again for another peaceful escape in the future. Warm regards, The Fresh Escapes Team
