The apartment was immaculate with a modern feel and 'clean' decor. The lift was appreciated after a long day out in Old Town. Nearby shopping and eating options are plentiful; a truly walkable oasis. We will definitely keep this gem at the top of our list for any future visits.

The apartment itself was lovely — beautifully decorated, well appointed and in a great location. Our one issue was a strong, garbage-like smell coming from somewhere either in the unit or in the building. We noticed it most when returning from outside, and since we didn’t keep food waste in the unit, we knew it wasn’t coming from us. We’ve since realized that all the clothes we had in the apartment, even ones we washed before leaving, picked up that same smell.

We are, however, very sorry to learn about the unpleasant smell you experienced during your stay. Unfortunately, from time to time the plumbing in some of the historic buildings located in Girona's Old Town can produce unpleasant odors. We have already informed our maintenance team so they can inspect the apartment and do everything possible to minimize this issue for future guests.
