Thank you for this generous review. We look forward to welcoming you back.
On arrival greated by Pete and his lovely wife Eve and given a tour of the apartment and grounds, gave us some tips on which pubs/restaurants to us (very handy). Facilities excellent, good wifi connection.Overall a very pleasant experience. Will recommend to friends and family.
Fabulous accommodation.Superking bed soooo comfortable. Nothing negative to report.Best chinese at pearl dragon take away in village!region was just a little quiet for us but its not summer anymore is it.Overall lovely quiet break.
The stay was superb. The place is incredibly quiet with where it's positioned at the rear of the property. Extremely clean, very comfortable king sized bed, all the kitchen amenities we needed and felt extremely welcomed upon our arrival. It made for a lovely weekend getaway with so many local walks, places too see and multiple shops and pubs close by. Also having full access to the grounds and garden was a gorgeous addition also. 10/10, Couldn't improve on it, Will definitely be staying again.

Thanks very much and for leaving the place so tidy. We hope to see you again soon.
A big thank you to Pete and Meg for a wonderful stay. The apartment was so comfortable and quiet. It was the perfect base for our weekend stay. I would happily move in. Thank you for the warm welcome. The apartment was roomey and fully equipped to ensure our stay was perfect. Very grateful for the croissants too. We would definitely stay again and would totally recommend. Sandra and Tony
My partner and I stayed here for two nights over the long Easter weekend. We loved the space and it had everything we needed. We contacted Meg and Pete before booking and they were happy to accommodate a special request for us which was very kind as they did not have to. They were great hosts and super responsive. The apartment is decorated beautifully and there were thoughtful extra touches - the oat milk in the fridge alongside regular milk was particularly thoughtful. There is an air fryer (rather than oven), microwave, kettle and a single electric ring for cooking if you need it. My only recommendation would be, if you are sensitive to light in the morning, bring an eye mask for sleeping as it can be very bright first thing, even with the blinds closed. We did not use the games room or the gym but these are great extras to have at the property. The garden space is also lovely but again, we didn't have time to enjoy this added bonus. I can imagine a summer's evening sat out there would be luscious though.Loddon has plenty of pubs and take-aways in walking distance. We ordered from The Indian Palace and were not disappointed. If we're ever in the area again we will definitely be staying here again!

We would like to thank Jasmine and her partner for being the first guests at The Old Bank and for providing this really helpful feedback on what worked well and what could be improved. It is true that the large east facing windows catch the morning sun and the blinds do not eliminate all the light - we shall see what we can do about this, but in the meantime an eye mask is a good suggestion!
