We had a wonderful stay! The house was exactly what we needed as our "layover house" at the beginning and end of our 8-day Guatemala vacation while traveling to and from Lake Atitlán.The home is spacious, with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and two separate living areas, so everyone had room to spread out. The kitchen is fully stocked with quality appliances, making it easy to prepare meals. We especially enjoyed the rooftop deck in the evenings, it was the perfect place to relax, sip some Guatemalan rum, and enjoy the view. The gas grill was a nice bonus.Having a garage for our rental car was another feature we really appreciated. The home is about 45–90 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic, and roughly 3–4 hours from Lake Atitlán, making it a convenient base for exploring different parts of Guatemala. One unexpected highlight was the restaurant directly across the street. We had the best steak we've ever eaten there! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Antigua or using it as a stop before or after exploring the rest of Guatemala.
