We had a really nice time at this house. It was spacious, clean, equipped with everything you may need and has a really beautiful garden. Jonathan informed us very well about the house, which made it easy to find, easy to know how to use any appliances and where best to go in the area. The house is spacious and private and overall so comfortable and cosy to stay in.

Kiln house is in an idyllic spot in central Scotland. It had its quirky features but was a good space to stay for a week. The garden was lovely with all the little terraces and seating. We walked form the door one day, otherwise used the car to get to nearby walks. Parking was good with it's own spot.

Check in was extremely easy! The hosts messaged us the day before about weather warnings and road closures as we drove up in the snow. Luckily the weather changes during the week and we had beautiful sunshine and opportunities to use the garden space. Great location- canyoning at the falls in keltneyburn at the top of the street was a highlight and the smithy’s located behind the house was a stunning keepsake. Wonderful, communicative hosts, stunning property, very clean and everything you need for a homely stay in the highlands.

Een top huis! Alles aanwezig, schoon en een leuke indeling. Contact verliep goed en was zeer vriendelijk. Kinderen hebben genoten van de tuin en het riviertje waar ze uren hebben gespeeld.Verder een fijne uitvalbasis om de regio te verkennen.

Es ist ein tolles, super eingerichtetes Haus! Man sollte wissen, dass es pro Bett nur eine große Zudecke gibt, muss man sich erst dran gewöhnen.Der Garten ist wildromantisch und bietet viele Sitzmöglichkeiten, sodass man immer einen Sonnenplatz findet - wenn die Sonne scheint. Im Fluss kann man gut Wasserwege für selbstgebaute Flöße bauen, nicht nur für Kinder schön. In der Umgebung kann man viel unternehmen (Wandern, Canyoning, Rafting, Distillerien besuchen) und wir hatten Glück und es gab zwei Highlandgames während unseres Aufenthaltes. Für die Unternehmungen braucht man allerdings immer das Auto.

Urlaub pur

Kiln House liegt gemütlich an einem kleinen Fluss und war für uns ein guter Ausgangspunkt für unsere Ausflüge mit den Mietwagen. Es liegt zentral in Schottland, sodass wir auch weiter entlegene Orte innerhalb eines Tages erkunden konnten, aber auch in nahemUmkreis gab es mehr als genug tolle Möglichkeiten etwas zu erleben. Wir sind Wanderfreunde und haben die Natur rund um den Loch Tay besonderes genossen. Schlösser und Steinkreise, Seen, Gärten, Shopping und Adventure gibt's alles in der Umgebung.Das Haus ist unglaublich gemütlich und der Garten eine Oase. Die Betten waren sehr gut und die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern verlief einwandfrei. Wir können Kiln House nur weiterempfehlen und würden sehr gerne selber nochmal wiederkommen.
