Great location and apartment with clean beds and towels. Would have been excellent but for the following:
1) very poor check in process. First, keys had to be collected from a different location, and on top of that the right address for collecting keys was not provided.
2) Basic amenities such as washroom soap, dishwashing soap, detergent etc were not provided. We were simply reminded "this is a self catering" apartment. While I get that, I also don't expect to be buying a bunch of things for a 2 to 3 night stay.
3) For a traveler from north American, certain things in the apartment were not known. There is a switch that turns the kitchen gas stove on.
4) Based on instructions, we did live in fear of "overusing" electricity! We believe in resource conservation, and respect the need to conserve, but did not enjoy living under a cloud of such warnings.
The above and a couple of other items made for a bit of an issue with the stay. Overall the apartment is very well located, very charming and enjoyable!
