Lovely, quirky place to stay and spend time with family. Really cosy and made extra special with the log burners during the cold snap! The lane access wasn’t for the faint hearted or someone with a low car! Lovely and quiet with plenty of room for the children to play.
The Mill and Pond Houses are isolated, quirky and loads of fun. My extended family, our dogs and I had a fabulous time both walking the many, many local paths and bridleways and on trips to local places of interest, and just chilling in the hammock and on the lawn or between the two houses. We loved the huge kitchen and dining area in the Mill House and are very grateful to Sam and Mark who kindly lent our in-family baker some of their kitchen equipment so that she could indulge us. And that was typical of our hosts who were readily available to answer questions, explain the fascinating history of the mill and its surroundings and were clearly committed to making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as it could possibly be.
